Last year he was a bit iffy at times but when it mattered on the run in he produced

There are games where Broony is needed and others where he's no, smartest thing Lenny could do is be a bit more strategic when deploying Broony.

If Lenny does that he gets the best fae a rested Broony when he does play, other guys like Turnbull and Soro get more game time and we maybe end up getting a midfield that becomes more mobile, resilient and adaptable.

And as broony always seems to get a higher rating than most and higher than he usually deserves then he seems to be picked for every match. I hope we see a lot of un or not-so-familiar faces today. Good opportunity for young lads to showcase themselves and maybe present alternatives to less motivated seniors. But I wouldn't bet on it. Infact I decided to quit betting on Celtic games after Hibs. Leads to way too much negativity.

Well he's no cutting it as a CB either Winter, seriously go back and watch all 4 Sparta's goals from Thursday. Look at his positioning for the first goal, look at what he does/doesn't do for their 2nd, look at where he is and his complete lack of urgency to get back for goals 3 and 4. This is a common theme that runs through his overall game.

Look back over previous games and where we're conceding most of our goals from, it's the area he's supposed to be covering, he is one of THE biggest reasons why we're shipping so many goals.

BR fucked up where Ajer was concerned, he tried to mould him into a CB out of necessity, mainly because we were short in that area and it essentially robbed us of Broony's natural replacement imo!

I think most if us on here were saying that to get the most from Broony this season he would need to be rested more as he struggles with 2 matches a week. If we can see this then why can't the well paid experienced management team?
