Celtic v St Mirren - Scottish Premiership Saturday 30 January, kick-off 3pm - all comments here

After 9 years would not worry about a one year loan period, gonna be interesting watching the football authorities juggle with the concept that the winners are a club established in 1872.
The hurdles will be
1. When did unincorporated take place
2. When was the exit out of liquidation CVA accepted
3, Why is there now a new registered number at companies house
4. What does liquidation mean
5. Are we been told every newspaper outlet lied to the public when they printed their liquidation and history wiped out stories
6. Why did Hearts go for a CVA and get a certificate to announce them same club history intact
7. Why were creditors not offered a CVA
8. Why did the club lose it membership of the SFA/SPFL
9. Why did it not get second place prize money
10. If the club was not killed off why then did other clubs get to vote on it's future, considering none of a clubs debts is of any other clubs business
11. Why did Dave King say he would bring the old club out of liquidation
12. What did Walter Smith mean he wishes the new club every success
13. Why did player walk away
14.Why did Donald Findlay QC say the new entity had to make it's own history
I am sure there are more but, to be honest, was just checking that there really was not much to have to suck up.
But there won't be any juggling by the authorities - just burying their heads in the sand ignoring the truth as they go along with the same club lie. And they know that they will get a free ride because the joke of a media are also part of this nonsense as they too peddle the very same lies.

If the manager tries to get his ideas across and can’t succeed that equals failure in my book. Forget the excuses Cal the manager carries the can for tactics that cant be understood and subsequent shit performances. End of.
And he will...........................surely.....................................please sir ?

I don't know. With Peter Lawwell going and a new CE coming in, is it the case that Celtic want to allow the new CE to make all the decisions regarding the management team and that is why nothing is happening?

I suppose hiring a new CE and then sacking the management team before he has started might have led to even more turmoil?

Is there an ongoing plan being put together for next season that needs time to come together?

They surely must understand the magnitude of what needs done now.
Or maybe with the deflection going on at present and the fans at the throat of a chairman who is leaving anyway and a manager who will be sacked but more likely has it planned to go himself, then the new guy will come to smooth the anger and the fans accept the fact that the two demonised figures are gone and its back to normal, however, the eye has been took off the fact that what the deflection really was about is that simply there will be a new boss same as the old boss and the sacred old firm has been preserved during delection.
Botttom line their is no old firm and we will continue to enforce the truth and will educate our young upcoming thatthe old firm died when the old club died and our board tried to help keep them alive in pursuit of self interest, thats the story guys.

What has NL done to Callam McGregor? He used to be one of our most consistent players, I fell the captain's arm band is stifling his game. He seems to go missing in games too now. Is he burnt out with to much football,? Canny be as they all had 4 months off during the 1st lockdown. Rogic too has lost his sparkle, when was the last time you saw any of them looking pumped up, enthusiastic? They're all walking around like they've the weight of the world on their shoulders.
NL is not a positive person, negativity is contagious, it's spread around our dressing room faster than the new variant.
The vaccine has been around for a very long time, there is no problem at the factory, it's widely approved, it's a one dose deal no hanging around. All that seems to be missing is someone to administer it.
In the mean time, it's the patient that's suffering.
I only hope your right Brim, we're all hanging our hat on the next guy whoever he is

Think I am the other way round. Frustration has been replaced by anger. Or to be more accurate I should say incandescent rage.
I know exactly how you feel BB. Please believe me when I say anger would have, at one time, been my overriding emotion, and at times if applied constructively, I agree it can have a positive outcome. I just think we've come to the end of a particularly successful period in the clubs history; and given the opportunity to achieve the ten, it has made it all the more hard to take. What we have been lucky to live through is not the norm, and with the passing of time we may see things in a different light. Everything I've said above doesn't change the fact that I'm truly gutted to lose out on the ten. It's just that, at 70+ years of age I've learned to at least try to engage my brain before engaging my mouth. Or maybe just count to ten. ( Sadly not titles)

Thats why the fans have to keep informing them it aint going away. Hearts are the club who legally kept their history when they recieved a CVA penny in the pound, the huns never paid a penny debt, they were wiped off the face off the planet, wound up and finished.

Jabba said it best

Rangers FC as we know them are dead. It’s all over. They are
about to shut down for ever but not a single person among the
game’s hierarchy was open for comment.

And that just about sums it up for Rangers, the club the rest of the Scottish game came to detest.”

… “They’ll slip into liquidation within the next couple of weeks with a new company emerging but 140 years of history, triumph and tears, will have ended.”

Spot on and for that he got the job as he had the bodies lined up for the forensic team.

Any particular reason the Huns liquidation hasn’t been finalised yet?

Anything sinister going on?...

I think the "ongoing plan" is a bit like our matchday "tactics" - just a vague concept that doesn't seem to have any substance. We seem to be flying by the seat of our pants at every single level both on the pitch and in the boardroom.
The thing is, Peter Lawwell is a pretty shrewd guy. That he has been an asset to Celtic I think is without question. I know he is a divisive figure and our European stock has declined but he has delivered unprecedented domestic dominance.

Until this season. But even then he didn't sell on any of our best players last summer because we are going for the 10. Further funds were also released for new players. Can we argue with that?

The players that have been brought in have not performed. None of them with the exception of Turnbull and maybe Soro. And those that were kept - French Eddie, Ajer, Christie even - have, to various extents, regressed this season. I don't think this could have been foreseen?

The question is that changes are needed on an off the pitch and how will this be implemented as we transition from one CE to another.

Hi Peter, i agree with your points but could you please bin Lenny

Neil Lennon has now moved from being an embarrassment to our club, into a full blown, large as life, Bozo the Clown figure.

He is so detached from the reality of what
Is happening to our club, that it makes surreal look like sanity.

Detached so completely, from his own contribution and role in the calamity, that it beggars belief.

His degree of self delusion and accompanying arrogance, together with his blame everybody else excuses, makes it hard to have any sympathy for him.

It will eventually end in a long, hard, painful fall for you, Neil. With no way back.

And you have brought it all on yourself.

We said, Boab. 👍👍

I really just don't get it with duffy, as regards he has never played as badly with the Republic as he has with us, and this was meant to be his dream come true move, and its turned into his and ours worst nightmare.
I just couldn't see him making that school boy error for the second today if he was in the green of the Republic, so why us and his boyhood club?
Totally agree. How can a guy that has had a decent career, suddenly turn into a nightmare defender that cant even read the flight of the ball? You can see the reason for him getting slower because of his age but the rest is a mystery.
