Roy Keane.

Do you know what, at this moment in time I'd take him. He certainly wouldn't allow our players to be lazy bastards that can't run for longer than 50 minutes. He comes from the same background as slippy. Both were 24 hour athletes who played in a proper league where fitness and conditioning were everything. Look at what slippy has done with a squad of journeymen. They aren't special but they are fit. Roy would have a better squad, more money and hopefully his own backroom team of proper coaches, you'd hope.
I can understand your point Lubos and wouldn't disagree, just don't like Keane as an individual.
Would also question whether we might be interested in John Egan and Kenny from Sheffield United who I believe would be fairly good additions to our squad and who I believe Keane has already worked with in the Irish set up.
May answer a few questions that could have arisen over the last few days

Unfortunately, we arent going to sign a BR type of manager who will unite the whole support. Who ever we get in is going to have a battle to win over the whole support...and you can bet your life that the media will trip feed their poison like they did with Strachan (who was an Aberdeen man who didn't like Celtic) and Ronny (who was a cheap option manager who failed because he never won a treble)...Ive decided I'm going to get behind the new man 100%......unless its Kennedy....he can fuck off.

Think it would be wise to stay indoors Sunday the huns have got the meagie.

A rise in Scottish coronavirus cases over the past five days has “worried” a top government adviser, though he expressed hope the data was merely a “blip”.

Jason Leitch, the National Clinical Director of the Scottish Government, said the increase was not dramatic but showed the need for a cautious easing of lockdown.

The daily figure for coronavirus cases in Scotland on Friday was 662, a 161 increase on Monday 8 March.

Sunderlands been a graveyard for managers face it they're a disfunctional club from top to bottom if anyone watched the sunderland documentary on netflix they desrved to be where they are ,and the price they paid for bang average players in the inflated epl was scandelous so wouldn't judge Keane on Sunderland and the irish set up has never been anywhere near professional so you can't judge him on that either ,they had to work with what they had

He would call out the cheating that's for sure something we really need ,beatons days would be numbered and his displays in glasgow derbys wouldn't be met by naval gazing neither would the lickspittles who would get short srift .

so it's a yes from me if he got appointed with a good backroom staff with plenty of experience in the game, not his mates it could be a good appointment he's got a wealth of experience is respected outwith Scotland and i think in the right set up he could just be a perfect fit

Todays players are a bunch of fannies , no bite ,no dig , come off the park just as clean as they went on it ,the last defender i seen going in 50/50 was jozo and he was a bit of a cripple but atleast he had some balls this years showings are pathetic

Doubt Keane will get the job but it's not an easy job to sell ,europe, 4 sevco games and that's it ,the rest of the time your facing clubs who can hardly keep the lights on and play on plastic ,,,,,a really tough sell if you ask me so all the other names will be thinking wow can't wait to play at the tony macaroni stadium and Hamiltons half built shithole

weekend figures will be low as there not counted till tuesday bet they hold some figures back

If they do go for Keane....I think we would need a good No2....someone who can talk to the players so they dont go in the huff.....I dinny think Keano can dae that....but with a Sean Maloney type....it could work

If controversy sells then Roy Keane would definitely be our man Lubos.
Not just for his personality and criticism.
As you all possibly know Roy Keane comes from Co Cork which has the nickname of the "REBEL" County.
Sure to go down very well with all of the hun scum media
Only problem they may have a bit of trouble with, is its also the same county as our Taoiseach (prime minister)

The biggest problem I have with Keane is, he's another clough graduate the same as O'Neill and Lennon is an offshoot of that. He doesn't go to training the same as O'Neill and Lennon. This was my biggest gripe with Lennon. What fuckin manager in this day and age doesn't show up to training?
But I would love to be a fly on the wall in the changing rooms after a poor result with him in charge.

As much as I don't like him Deadner, I couldn't see him not doing the training sessions

If you take away his playing career nobody would be mentioning him for the job, he just doesn't have the management credentials. Personally I like him as a character but I think it would be a huge gamble.
The huns took a gamble on Slippy being a big name and I suppose its worked, after 3 years. But would we back a manager after 2 years of winning fuck all? Doubt it.

He doesnt john. Let's the coaches do it. He showed up with Ireland simply because he was the assistant and the players only came together a few times a year.
Seriously, I would have thought in today's game you need to be fairly hands on with having to get team's prepared for matches in such a short space of time
