I can understand your point Lubos and wouldn't disagree, just don't like Keane as an individual.Do you know what, at this moment in time I'd take him. He certainly wouldn't allow our players to be lazy bastards that can't run for longer than 50 minutes. He comes from the same background as slippy. Both were 24 hour athletes who played in a proper league where fitness and conditioning were everything. Look at what slippy has done with a squad of journeymen. They aren't special but they are fit. Roy would have a better squad, more money and hopefully his own backroom team of proper coaches, you'd hope.
Would also question whether we might be interested in John Egan and Kenny from Sheffield United who I believe would be fairly good additions to our squad and who I believe Keane has already worked with in the Irish set up.
