Celtic v theRangers - Sunday 21 March 2021 Kick-off 12 noon.

On the penalty decision; I will put on my objective hat and say that if we had been given the decision, I would say that it was soft but thems the rules and expect the huns/media to say we got away with one and he dived. If it happened at the other end of the pitch I would expect the huns/media to say it was a stonewaller and us to say he dived. Keeping on that objective hat and topping it off with a feather of statistics I am able to say the odds on it being a penalty for us or against them are much, much higher than one given against us or for them. However Slippy has said that remaining unbeaten in the league is not important so he may be giving the green light to the refs for the remaining games to try and balance those pesky statistics.

I don't understand how we can honestly have constructive feedback and discussion on here when some of us are out just to argue black is white.

Today Christie was crap and has been for a while, he had one good season as have lots of players, Kenny offered little going forward but he done well in marking Ryan Kent all game. Elyonoussi offered nothing off the ball and really only appeared to tap in and miss one. Turnbull was good on the ball when he had it but the way we were setup made him more ineffective than effective. Laxalt had a good game, doesn't get to the byline or defend well enough but always offers himself for the ball and gives 100 percent. Broony done as broony does he is and always has been a good player but he isn't a holding midfielder as I've said so many times, when I think of a holding midfielder I think of a makele, Kante etc someone who can break up play in front of the defence and when full backs are forward drops in a hole between defenders to shore up, broony sometimes is on the edge of the opposition box so .. Eddy needs someone playing with him like Griff or 2 wingers higher up like Forrest and Sinclair did or he is to isolated and tries to do everything himself. Two centre backs played well imo along with the goalkeeper. Mcgregor made some excellent runs beyond the defenders and should have looked up that one time instead of shooting.

Kennedy should be nowhere near the job neither should lennon have been, though after the last few games as I've previously said today it looks like Kennedy has had more power then we have all given him credit for, we have been in the mire for a while now. The reason we got Rodgers was on the back of them beating us and after we done an invincible season in Scotland but the benchmark has to be Europe and if it isn't then we are as bad as most clubs down south happy to pocket some cash for mediocrity....

Slavia Prague aren't a bigger club than us are they? They've progressed further than us a few times now in the europa. RB Salzburg schooled us in Europe as did Molde. We were beaten by Aek Athens and Ferencvaros. We have been abysmal in Europe. Ok we beat lazio twice but those games could have gone either way and we left it late in both games, they still had more shots, possession etc.. Just look it up.

All im saying is that we need to look at what the big clubs do and the even to an extent the so called smaller clubs that manage to compete in Europe with a fraction of our budget.

Spot on mate.

On a more positive note...it was good to finally see the now redundant and hollow " take a knee" gesture consigned to the archives... credit, I know it's hard...but credit to the Huns for putting this in motion...at first, the knee thing meant something and raised awareness of the BLM... lately it has purely been nothing but lip service

I actually think Kennedy has the knowledge and nous to become Celtic manager..he maybe needs a guy who can get the signings done and a top class trainer in beside him
He has been left with a squad who that 50% do not want to play for us anymore and who won't give that extra for the cause...weed out those players who go through the motions and get some hunger back in about us
Sorry can't agree, if he was a Celtic mgr, he should have been screaming and shouting at the club but no he was thinking about his future job prospects. HH.

Sorry have to disagree, we need to take it to the next level, all of a sudden the most racist club in Scotland has become the flag bearer of anti-racism in football. Give me a break. This has become a reason for "how many times have we been sanctioned" Sevco to avoid further scrutiny. They are racists, and all of a sudden the press are parading them as holier than God. When will eufa fucking do something about them and the sfa.

Lots of good points mate, again I will say we have good players but they need to be coached Welland set up to play a game that gives us a better chance of progressing in whatever competition we play in. HH

OK, here goes, am gonna set myself up for a right doin' here.....I think JK has the makings of a very good manager too; but only after a spell in charge at some other club. Too many respected pros rate the bloke very highly for him to be the dud some seem to think he is.

This isn't something I've arrived at purely on what I witnessed agains the undead, but I also feel he, and we, were more than worth a result against them. Our passing was for the most part better than recently, crisp and mostly accurate. We limited them to very few chances. If it wasn't for the fact that they actually have a top class keeper we would be praising the guy for getting it right.

In all honestly JK would be a fool to take the job at present if he was offered it. But he probably would. As always there are some very good opinions on this particular subject; I guess we're all obsessed with this wonderful club of ours, and so we want the best we can get.

Oh, and BTW am I'm definitely NOT a hun !!!!

I don’t think anyone is saying that JK hasn’t the potential to be a good manager.....but we need more than that.....we need someone who can come in and restructure and revitalise our whole set up.....we need a man with a vision and a strategy to put a plan put in place for the next 10 years.....JK is not that man imo...

The UB see this as a victory by them getting clubs to stand by kamara motherwell /dundee utd /livi all running to be first in line , i'm all for standing up to racism but not led by a fan group of bigoted racist cnts nor by a club who stand bye as there fans subject our players and fans to the worst sectarian racist abuse going and the media class it as banter
Seems they finally got what they wanted by stopping there players taking the knee a thing the racist sevco support found disgusting to begin with and wanted it stopped

if he had ambition he would have left Celtic to secure a management place and kicked on from there ,learning the game

The issue I have is the Slavia player has now been deemed to have whispered a racial slur to Kamara.....the truth of the matter is only 2 people definitively know what was said.....you cannot in my view state that something has definitively happened when you simply do not know that is the case.....and that is what is happening here.

Is the Slavia player potentially guilty of whispering a racial slur to Kamara? Maybe!

Is Kamara and others potentially guilty of embellishing matters? Maybe!

Is a precedent going to be allowed to be set whereby a person can be convicted of a crime without definitive evidence? Not here!

Are the Huns guilty of high jacking the narrative to suit their purposes and deflect from all the other serious issues they are guilty of? Definitely!

We are in very dangerous territory here imo.....if we allow trial by orchestrated consensus through the media to dictate outcomes without definitive proof...

Quite understand your sentiment however don’t think It was just the penalty call or the yellow cards handed out to five Celtic players and one to a sevco player this excuse for a referee used his whistle to break up Celtic play take the Broonie free kick the kick was taken and it was 3 against 2in Celtics favour so he blow up stoped the game stateing the kick was taken from the wrong place this allowed sevco to flood thier defence?? He payed more attention to the sevco goalie than giving the penalty he should have,, a bias ref with a whistle Can very quickly turn a game to one teams advantage we have seen this excuse do this to teams all season with the help of the other Lanarkshire refs have controlled the league to one teams advantage, yes I know Celtic have been far from is expected but your supposed to play 11 players not 12

To be fair, he played the strongest players he was left with 😎👍
Griffiths... best natural goal scorer at Celtic can't get more than 3 minutes to turn a game around??? Hunskelper too. Last time he was used regularly he scored 40 goals. This idiot Kennedy gives him 3 minutes ffs
Been said we don't take our chances in front of goal but Eddy needs someone else alongside him as he is not a CF so what do we do? Play Ajeti FFS.
Whether we think Griff is a moron or not he gives 100% in most games and forms a very good pairing with Eddy. He certainly knows where the goals are.
Every team is told when Eddy gets the ball in the 18 yard box to crowd him our with at least 3 players... he'll try to walk it in and should be easy pickings without a second striker to draw defenders.
Griff must have told them he's off at the end of the season.

You're correct, not every one is saying he doesn't have potential; that's why I said it's good to read the mixed opinions. Have to say as well though, some of it is every bit as a bad as the personal diatribe directed at Lenny. What's becoming more obvious is that whoever gets the job has a very difficult task ahead in uniting the support.

I’d have have ask you, if the penalty incident would have happened in our box......would it have been given?.......I’d say 100% yes, so I’d say it’s a stonewaller, soft, granted, but a penalty never less

According to the rules as I understand them.....Eddy by having to take evasive action due to the lunging tackle made by Barisic is 100% a penalty.....there was nothing soft about it...

Any contact at all, you miss the ball and clip the opponent, wether you meant it or not new rules(pish as they are) penalty

ALBIAN Ajeti has had his two-match ban for diving overturned at today's SFA fast track hearing. ... It was claimed that Ajeti breached rule 201 when he tumbled to the ground in close proximity to Killie keeper Colin Doyle, an incident which referee Clancy initially deemed was worthy of a penalty kick.
