2 months, still no manager......

I accept that he has limited experience but he is certainly no worse than Lennon and he could improve and get some better results. I do not expect him to be appointed but why the visceral dislike? I've asked this several times but no one has answered. No one else knows the strengths and weaknesses of our squad any better. Is is just because he is Scottish? Foreigners are always better? Really?

The problem with Kennedy is that he was solving nothing when he was the first team coach and, with the opportunity to change things as interim manager, he has changed nothing: we still can't defend, we still can't attack and we still aren't fit enough.


Kennedy was on the coaching staff when Ronny and Rodgers were calling the shots so he should have picked up some ideas from those days. When he was Lennon's second-in-command, he could have been keeping it back so that Lennon didn't get the credit but there has been no improvement in the two months since Lennon left.

Finally, if he was holding back to undermine Lennon, that would be reason enough for him not to get the job on a permanent basis since he was employed to coach the team. What if he were to get the role of manager/head coach - would he under-perform then to get rid of the DoF? As mentioned above, though, the lack of progress since Lennon's departure suggests that he wasn't holding back.

Let's just plump for someone 'no better than Lenny' then as we have no ambitions to win back our title and take part in the group stages of any Euro competition. Let's take Kennedy because, well he's Kennedy and ignore the fact that he can't coach this team as proven in the past few games. :rolleyes:

As they say Shamrock,great players dont always make great managers and J.K. was in that category,he was not only Celtic class this Bhoy would have been world class.

Let's be honest, Eddie Howe is not really the man to take us forward as is Kennedy just yet...with Howe you will be getting a decent championship standard manager with zero European experience and zero knowledge of our club and expectations......we really need to be aiming higher than Mowbr....Howe
All Mourinho/Kennedy /Benitez banter from me aside, I also think a new man is in place and it is someone that is being kept under the radar

You do come across a bit arrogant at times. There has been many posts on here outlining kennedys failings. You've obviously chosen to ignore them.
