To me the board have boxed their selves into a corner. Or did they? Was EH DD's idea and it backfired massively? Did DD convince the board it was a done deal and they went along meekly. If so is it not time there was some dissenting voices in the boardroom? We are not a dictatorship after all. Lots of other money is invested in the club, surely they have a voice? Bottom of the totem pole is the poor old fans who finance it all. Last time they took the fans for granted there was a coup, there could always be another one.

I actually know a wee bit about Australian fitba through some of my friends moving from Scotland out to Victoria, to help their soccer federation back in the 80's, and we have kept in touch, and I've followed the various teams they played for
A lot of guys who played Junior in Scotland went out there, and had great careers, both there and in Scotland after they moved home
I don't know about this Aussie guy, it's a totally different set of affairs, and coming from Australia into the goldfish bowl of Glasgow isn't something that many could endure
Guess we'll just have to wait and see

What it comes down to is that there was an expectation that Howe would be announced and we have been kept in the dark and made assumptions. He has pulled out now for reasons unknown and so we have to find someone else. This happens with job vacancies all the time. I admit that I had never even known that Ange was on the short list when I woke up to the news. I can assure you that he is no mug. Managers are not the most important part of Celtic. As we have learned so painfully, the fans might well be the most important part. Whoever the board appoint , I will have their back. As Celtic supporters we should support the club which consists of players, the management team and the Board.

Yes the team will always get the support.
Players get the support on effort and desire to give there all for the club, but will get a backlash when they don't.
Management will get the support upon the results they deliver, and when they don't deliver any still stick with a failed approach then they are only making a noose for themselves.
You never have to support a board in any means and again they make the biggest decisions and when they are been make in such a disrespectful manner of the support, the ones that they depend upon for the support in money terms, and get repaided with ignorance, then how can you still expect the majority of the supporters to support such a shower of useless bastards.
They’re responsible for this current mess and better act quickly to sort it out
