Believe it or not, it isn't so long ago since he retired. He played at Forfar for a couple of years and I think he was picked for that league's team of the season. He quit December 2015 and joined up with Dick Campbell again at Arbroath. He only quit playing 3-4 years ago!

Every good team has to start with a good keeper then a central defender and a good striker who can get over 30 goals a season that's the spine of the team.get these players in place will get us on the road again. Everytime we have played st johnstone the last few seasons I always checked to see if thier big viking goalkeeper was playing he always plays very well and if we have scored against them it's usually a defensive error that has lead to the goal I'd love to see this viking in the celtic nets he is a class act it would be a hard job to prize him away from St johnstone but let's do this celtic we need to start building this team and let's start at the keeper.

Sure, if you can dig him up, since he died a couple of years ago. I got to see him play in the NASL for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the late '70s. Met him once, too. Class act.
