Europa league group draw.

I just pulled this from tinternet

The winners of each group will advance to the round of 16, while the runner-ups will advance to the knockout round play-offs. The third-placed teams will be transferred to the Europa Conference League knockout round play-offs, while the fourth-placed teams will be eliminated from European competitions for the season.

Decent Draw for the HOOPS,, working with a hun today absolute fuckin rocket of guy, reckons huns could top the group, Lyon will destroy them ffs.

Imo, think Celtic could top the group if we cut oot the kamikaze defending. The Germans probably see themselves as fav but a few good nights Footie ahead at Paradise ☘COYBIG☘

Have you seen the fantastic tweet from Real Betis? It is brilliant:

Stripes vs Hoops. This match is finally happening! Looking forward to seeing you on the pitch and celebrate together with all the Bhoys and Ghirls! See you soon, Celtic!

Excellent group, those teams feel 'fresh' to me as European opponents. Great away trips for the fans, if thats possible.
We probably don't have a snow's chance of progressing but it will be lively while it lasts and some great nights at Paradise.

Real Betis is a fascist club. WTF kind of club has supporters giving Nazi salutes and waving the loser flag of the US Confederacy?

Fuck these clowns.

I never knew that as I can't stand watching Spanish football because of all the diving and cheating. I still think it was a classy message from the club but their facist fans can go phuq themselves!

Happy enough with the group draw, and could be classed as a step up upon AZ.
Now last night was only about qualifying for groups stages which was successful thankfully.
Yet if such a preformance was put in while in the group stages, many of us would have been very critical all the same.
Huge individual mistakes were made, and hope its looked upon as you don't get away with such mistakes in European competition.
We still have to take into account, that this level of competition is very new to half a team, along with Ange.
Totally different games to what the SPFL and good European teams can produce, yet I would say we are still well on the way to matching these European teams still.
Would be amazed if we were to see a midfield 3 of last night used again in European competition, especially away from home.
We still have great options available for how we set up for the challenges ahead, which hopefully will be improved even more so by deadline day.
Need a very strong squad nowadays to compete at the level we hope and squad rotation will be important with the amount of games and a Thursday /Sunday turnaround should be alright for us with the depth and quality within the squad forming nicely.
With what hopefully will be another 8 games in Europe at least to come, gives us plenty to look forward to.
Confident we will produce far better than the shite given to us last season, and need to also if we want to be considered as a decent CL team next season, and hope we can copy similar to what lille and AC did last season to be considered a reasonable CL team this season.
Big learning curb for us still within Europe and one I believe are capable of being able to handle the challenge ahead.

Indeed, mentioned this earlier that they are akin to Lazio and Hamburg...fuck all this friendly pish
Real Betis have always been seen as the 'working man's' team in Seville. There is a small minority ultras group at Betis that spouts this fascist pro Franco dementia but the vast majority of their fans are apolitical.
And there is a kind of Celtic interest because of their strip origins.
I don't think they are as bad as Lazio or Hamburg.

Agree LC20, they -in general- have a good affinity with us. Hopefully it will continue after we beat them :)
