I agree - I think the fact we have Taylor, Scales, Juranovic, Montgomery and Bolingoli (plus Connell too assuming he isn't turfed out on loan) means we are not getting in a left back.

Come January window our better players will be run into the ground and probably suffering injuries. Between 11th Sept and 2nd Jan we potentially have 27 games (and that excludes another 4 or 5 internationals for most of the squad). We need players now to help the players we have. At this stage even loans (which I'm generally against) will do.

Scales is probably cover for both positions, but he's also a project signing like Shaw and Urhoghide. Welsh and Starfelt have no real back up just now, one of them get injured and we're throwing Scales in (might work but risky) or Bitton (and we know how that ends). Another CH is required now, even a loan deal that tides us over until Jullien is fit

Don't know about loses Docco, but I recieved my shares dividend this week and it's exactly the same as the last few years.

I would love to see Monte confirmed as official backup LB. Let him learn his trade in the first team squad. Has not put a foot wrong all summer and does not look out of place.

No I don't. I think he is a very limited and it does wrankle that we paid over £7 million. What has he given back? Covid, 13 players and staff out because he wanted a junket and has been paid very well for taking a year off after bumping his knee..... Too easy to push around so IMO we need a proper CB. Just an opinion.

Yous are probably right about the Left Back situation but a Centre Back and a Defensive Centre Mid are a must imo as we're light in both these positions.

Also why the Centre Forward and Left Winger deals hinge on Eddy's transfer to Palace is a nonsense as we need both these players through the door regardless, we've made a substantial profit in player sales already so the deals should be getting done whatever happens with Eddy!
