Big John said it fine margins as u say little individual mistakes cost us I don't blame the tactics at all if anything ajeti and Jota shud have scored another 2 our tactics worked well tonite its the individual mistakes that need ironed out but we've still not played a settled back 4 yet this season either these guys need to get to know each other

OK we lost mainly due to 2 five minute spells where our defending was shocking, probably not helped by none of the back 5 playing for our defence last aeason.
But there were a lot of positives for me. We dominated so well until their first goal. If Jota (who was excellent in attack) had scored to make it 3-0 then who knows how it would have finished. I thought Ajeti played out of his skin tonight and was unlucky to be on the receiving end of some strange refereeing decisions.
They got a lucky break for one of their goals and then a shot went in off the post whereas Rogic's shot pinged back out - this match was decided by tiny fractions.
Considering we had so many important players out I think overall we were a wee bit unlucky against a very strong team in difficult conditions.
I think Ange maybe needs be more pragmatic (boring even) with his tactics in these types of big away games. Possibly adding an extra defender or sacrificing an attack-minded player for another midfielder. I know it goes against his "philosophy" but we can't keep going on leaking goals like this.

Not too down about the result. Thought the guys gave us everything. It was always gonna be a difficult one with the players we had missing. HH.
