๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ… CHRISTMAS BOAX RAFFLE ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ…

Hate going 'off topic' but...
We are experiencing what the local news meteorologists, are calling a 'Weather Bomb' and another expression they are using is 'Atmospheric river'
All we know is that it's bucketing down and our roof has sprung a leak, fortunately though it's into the bath...every cloud and all that
We're also experiencing winds of up to 90 kmh, andwe're expecting another power cut later today
Fortunately, coming from Greenock, I have webbed feet (no comments) and I'm about to fit windshield wipers on our TV
It truly is a FUGLY day and there's been a lot of floodingStay safe and and highway landslides
I said "Come on Georgia...let's go for a walk..."
Happy to report she is much smarter than yours truly and hopped up on our bed, yawned, and went for a nap...Good Girl !!!
Not going out for a walk with our four legged 'sponge', it's not a good look and although she's a husky and loves the cold, she's no dummy...unlike her Dad...
Stay safe and BAFTA ๐Ÿ˜
Now, where's that number for NOAH ?

Want to go for a walk Georgia ?

I wouldnโ€™t put the leaking roof leaking into the bath down to luck, claim it as excellent forward planning on your part

She's got you sussed mate.

My wife is at the store..."Can you think of anything else that we need ?"
"Scuba gear"
We have had 7 1/2 inches of rain in the past two days, already and it's still raining like it's the end of the world

Don't worry, I've got ladders and I'll even come pick you up
Way cheaper that way
I'd fix it myself but I'm not allowed near power tools, or ladders any more...although I did go up into the attic this morning
Appreciate the offer though ;-)

Hope itโ€™s not too bad , and you could always bring the Christmas tree down with You save yourself a trip up there in a couple of weeks time and claim your just making sure it stays dry.
A friend of mine was married to a police officer, but he screwed around on her, so they divorced
She told me that if he died in uniform the insurance money tripled
She used to tell him to put his uniform on, when he put up the Christmas lights

Our tree is in the garage, so no fear of me falling off a fucking ladder...again...for the third time
I reminded people of the Flying Wallenda's..well, the flying bit...hence the reason I'm barred from ladders by my family members
3 months after my open heart surgery, I decided to clean the gutters...wtf was I thinking ???
Note to self...do not use the shop vac on the roof as it gets full of water and debris, and you cannot one hand an 80 Lb weight and stay on a ladder at the same time
Plus, in case you didn't know...gravity works...
I crashed down onto the deck (only ten feet below) and took out our glass topped patio table
landed on my side, then had the entire contents, wet leaves, and dirty water, cascade over me as I lay prone...
Yes, not one of my better days
And then 3 months after that, it was pruning our trees and again, a ladder was involved, the only hurt that time, was my pride, and the shoulder I fucked up with the gutter cleaning mishap
Stay safe muckers
