Its the Season of goodwill. Somebody tell Police Scotland, Bastards.

An additional comment: it seems bloody strange that Higgins would do this if he is hoping for a job at Celtic and thus taking the step to alienate even more of the support. On the other hand, he could have been told he is definitely getting the job and is using the police to do some dirty work before he even starts. The lack of comment from the Celtic board does make me wonder
Or it could be a warning shot to the GB. It's Higgins way of showing them, and the board, that he still has sway in PS.
If so I think it's backfired, it's a massive piece of bad publicity and by staying silent it gets bigger each day! The board could have said they were disappointed PS chose to do this and offered to pay the fines.
Personally, I'm starting to get very angry with the board, every action seems to be to antagonise the fans.

THe boards following orders from Desmond ,this is his doing and what DD wants he gets the useful idiots on the board are just filling in the blanks

we now have a dictator the very thing wee Fergus fought against
A big portion of my own displeasure at Desmond was due to my belief that he wasn't influential enough in curbing the over enthusiasm of figures like Lawwell, Bankier et al.

Recent events would strongly suggest that I was completely wrong in that analysis and that it was in fact Dermot Desmond who was always the puppet-master pulling the strings all along and that the likes of Lawwell were just totems doing the bidding of big boss bad.

That certainly doesn't get any of them off the hook, but since the aftermath of the league Cup defeat to Ross County - it seems as if Desmond is more than happy to display his utter contempt of any supporter or individual who doesn’t buy into his vision of totalitarianism.

This outlook of his leaves the whole club vulnerable, as he has the means to install his people into key positions and to hell with the consequences for the rest of us.

I agree, kelly - this is now looking like a dictatorship and history suggests that those things never end particularly well.

In my opinion the Celtic Board should step in and pay all of these fines to demonstrate their support for Charitable Causes. Maybe an idea to involve John Paul to approach them to put it forward. HH
THere offering to pay the fines but what they are not doing is putting out a statement saying ''the club did not make a complaint to the PoLICE, which would blow this whole story apart

Totally correct kelly, a simple solution to defuse this whole situation that is growing daily with the anger felt among the support, yet the board still refuse to opt for the simple solution?
Only question remains is as to why?
Now I personally feel that a potential rerun of last season could develop over this whole issue.
I will forever claim that this board created the shitshow of last season and used NL as there puppet, for which he in turn danced liked a prat to there every tune.
This season was about one thing and one thing only and that was putting the wrongs of last season right.
And so far, that has been going far better than many expected, as we have already gained the term as the best team in Scotland again by far, and only needs to be confirmed by regaining our titles, and haven't seen anything to say that isn't a realistic possibility now.
Many in the past have tried without success to try and break what keeps us so strong and that has been our united support.
So now we seem to have gained the enemy within us, with a board who is trying to break what keeps us so strong imo.
I can't help but think that the current gameplan of this board is all about saving sevco scum (SS) and seen nothing of yet in the past few weeks to think otherwise either.
If they believe that there current actions will break us the bastards better think again.
This club is our club, not there's, and as they seem he'll bent on siding with the enemy, then it's time for the enemy within us to be removed.
Simple solution, yet they have chosen to act like traitorous bastards yet again, got away with it once, but they all need to fuck off now, if they think they will get away with it again.
To insult us all again is one step to far imo, and there complete ignorance at given the simple solution, there is not one of them are fit for purpose within the club and should all be ran out of town ASAP.
This board won't and never will destroy us no matter how hard they try so let's hope that these traitorous bastards can all be removed from there positions of power, as remaining in a position of trying to shite upon everything we have always stood for is the wrong option they have chosen to take imo

Totally spot on brimcbhoy, made plenty of very bad decisions through anger and had to pay the price also.
When you have the power of the law behind you then it's easy enough to set the trap and fall into it, done it many a time myself.
So everyone will need to mind themselves attending games at the moment, which should never be the case at Celtic Park.

DD is the worst type of owner we can have
Ignorant, out of touch with supporters and doesn't really give a flying fuck about the football team.
His placemen are on the Board and depsite everyone seeing they are fucking foosty and outdated, they suit his needs, NED'S that provide a proper lack of corporate governance

Maybe the Green Brigade etc should make a tifo against The Tache.
He wouldn't give 2 hoots Neil, got everything in his favour.
Got the money and power within the club, and backed up by the power of the law.
As a so called Irish man, he is a total disgrace to our country and should be called out for being so imo.
An effigy of him hanging from the tricolour maybe wouldn't go down to well with him, but fuck him as he deserves such treatment by his actions of late
