Seen that clip of his scorpion goal outstanding and hopefully he can replicate that at a club the size of ours
 
I was just slating the english game yesterday but watching forest dump arsenal out the fa cup was brilliant forest were brilliant and arsenal even after they brought the cavalry on in KT lacazette etc had some chances but a great game with a full stadium and forest well worthy winners grabban still got it

You also have to take into account GS, that a tag as a failure can be attracted to a young player which isn't a easy tag to remove, especially when they haven't been given a fair opportunity to actually succeed.
It requires a huge mental strength, more so within Scotland to succeed and all this within a league that is hardly renowned for the standards of football being set over the last number of years still.
I'll never buy into that the young talent isn't on offer or available still, but the development programme as such still remains a shambles still.
I will go as far as saying that plenty would be keeping an eye upon some of the players on view in the lowland league currently, and who could blame them if they thought a better opportunity to succeed in their career can be offered in England still, I wouldn't and its something I worry about our tradition been lost in time if the current structure of Scottish football isn't addressed, sooner rather than later imo.

100% John in everything you said here especially the u23 league.
The English leagues are and always have been well ahead of us as regards to their football facilities.
You are right mate it is a sink or swim situation here every season and with the feckers we have in the SFA and SPFL it wont change anytime soon.
Sky are raping football by paying fantastic money to the English,French and Spanish,would they blink an eye if Scottish Football folded,,of course not we are the poor country cousins who are tolerated and nothing more and we will always be the poor country cousins as far as sponsors are concerned,what sponsor wants to get involved with a football assocciation who allows it,s members to choose for themselves if they want to wear the logo of the sponsor.
The SFA and SPFL make us the laughing stock of European Football..
While the masonic continue to run this sport we will have a long hard road ahead..

Just think how Arsenal would have faired if they had had to play one of Europe's major footballing clubs instead of an unknown team!!!
 
it's not just one manager you've to get past from the youth age upwards they discard a lot of hopefuls then the academy's there last stand

you feel sorry for the one's who get that far and are let go but saem has to be said for the fellas we lost last year under Lennon they basically made Celtics mind up for them and left on there own accord

So give or take lennono by your calculations and with getting CCV and Jota confirmed as signings still, the actual overall cost to the club might be only about 2M overall, 🤔
