Played well today two great goals in the 1st half 2nd half game slowed a bit and for a 10 mins period I thought we got a bit sloppy. I thought it was a foul on Taylor but after that Johnston should have been stronger in his dealing with their player in the lead up to the goal. Great watch and good result said to my daughter after Taylor's goal that in the 70s and 80s the flick on at the nearpost resulted in a lot of goals when it was done right just seems to have died out of the game.

Think he said when he signed for us there was interest from them but he didn't want to go to them, and I think your right about the price putting them off their loss our gain

We had a similar situation few seasons ago with injuries and played young fringe players against real betis and beat them.
Osaze Welsh and others shame not enough of the youth make it here but usually they do get a career elsewhere from a schooling at Celtic

Best performance of the season so far, should have been a lot more than 3-1. Hatate back playing again the main difference, rightly given MOTM. Scales also very good, won just about everything in the air, and that's all they did, launch long punts up our left in the hope of exploiting Taylor's lack of inches. Scales covered that side superbly. CCV back also a huge boost. Palma the best of the forward players.
Their goal should have been disallowed but VAR obviously selective in what he looked at. Taylor manhandled on the edge of their box, the player who fouls him plays the ball forward and from there they score with the goalscorer in acres of space where Taylor should have been.
VAR got (non) penalty decision correct, didn't think it was a penalty at the time.
Tynecastle next followed by Easter Road (with Atletico in between), side starting to hit a bit of form for a tough run of fixtures between the two upcoming international breaks

Considering everything thats been thrown at us, Ange leaving ( I was surprised how long he will stay ), Rodgers returning, Jota and starfelts departure , all the injuries leaving us as threadbare as I can remember for many a season.
It's actually been an awesome effort.

I get that we can't really spend £10m on a striker who's likely to spend a lot of time as a sub, but why not give Oh a bit more time.
Ok post VAR 2 min is more like 10 min, but it's not enough.

Oh needs to be getting 30mins per game, if Brendan wants to leave Kyogo on, then take of a wide player.

He may well have gotten more time today had we not conceded.
As good as scales has been, he's had 3 different CB partners and played out on LB was it?
So we're not settled in defence but approaching it, same for MF 1 of the 3 has been off it,can't fault Kyogo, Maeda, and Yang looks raw but a talent Rodgers can mould and make better, Palma is living the dream and loving it.
Was gutted jamesy didn't stick that away that would've been the ultimate take away good feel factor.

It would 100% have been given against us. I'm not annoyed that it wasn't given BTW. I'm just saying, as hatate got into the box, the defender, accidentally, kicked the bottom of his foot. Hatate went down easy. VAR could have given it. If it was against a hun, or at the other end of the pitch, it would have been given...and the reason for it would have been there was slight contact.

A penalty to the Huns and a red card, as we witnessed before, remember when he stepped on Carl Starfelts boot, then went down screaming, and winked at the crowd as the ref gave them a penalty plus a red card to CS
