Sack Rodgers NOW!!

Silly thread. Stop moaning and start supporting. We’re still capable of winning the double. Posts like this are definitely defeatist
Why is it silly when so many have replied?
Carlislereiver is only saying what a lot are thinking. Of course we're still capable of winning the double, but not if we carry on playing the way we have been.
Up the moaners! 😂

We are the reason we got jock stein, ange postacoglu,Martin O’Neill??because we weren’t prepared to just sit back and not “ moan”?

I'm sorry but I have no idea why anybody has any confidence that this current Celtic team is capable of going on to win this league or any other trophy this season it just won't happen.
I'm pretty certain until very recently we hadn't even won 3 league games in a row.

Sure there have been some significant injuries but the overall performances have been really dire from day one of the season and it has only been on the rare occasion that I have felt we might get away with it.

The writing has been on the wall since we meekly went out of the League Cup that our regression was taking place and the only saving grace we thought was that the imposters were worse than us.

The huns have since found a manager that has organised them and man managed them to believe they can win.
I've no idea if this guy is a good manager or not because BR has made it very easy for him to look good as he struggles against all spfl opposition whilst the new messiah over there continues to win.

Would sacking the manager make any difference at this stage ...personally I don't believe so as the timing of the remainder of the season isn't enough for any new coach to turn it around.
It looks like we are stuck with a stubborn manager on a system that doesn't work and a clueless board who have long overstayed their welcome.

The inevitable awaits us as this team are gonna drop more points and their is nothing to suggest otherwise.

The league looks tight and their is talk of a two horse race .....I can only see one horse in the race and it ain't us.

Rodgers won't be sacked and for me the bigger picture is beginning to look like turmoil in the making over the next few seasons with a board who are done but will ignore a very angry support.

It will eventually come to a head in time but whilst the battle within goes on the huns will be right back on their feet.

I will back the team but I'm not stupid I know what I'm seeing isn't good enough and I have accepted that the huns whilst also very poor are in a far better place than us.
I hope I am wrong but I doubt that very much.

Can't disagree with anything you say Mag7; while I've said I refuse to throw the towel in, my comment isn't built on confidence. In truth it's just a cry from the heart. But I'm with you on most of what you say.

The conduct of our bean counters has been nothing less than criminal. The recruitment hasn't been just bad, it has been embarrassing; woeful, even.

I really try not to go overboard in my criticism of our players; it almost feels like I'm being a traitor. Sometimes, though, we have to call it as we see It.

Loyalty is a very fine attribute, and is to be admired. I will always feel loyalty to our club, our colours. I will be member of the Celtic family until my last breath.

BLIND loyalty though ? That's for fools who won't or can't think for themselves.

My loathing for our board is set in concrete. I owe them nothing. As I posted recently, and speaking only for myself, there has been an irreparable disconnect.

As always your post is well put Frank. I hate critising the team but as you say we have to challenge the negligence.HH

I know it's hard to ktf when our board are disfuctional and money oriented. I believe we will win the double because we are better than the other teams in the league. The huns have Hearts on sat at home , hearts take something from them a win for us at Motherwell Sunday we go top again. Killie play the huns at Rugby Park the following week. Whose to say huns take anything from that game. It's definitely not over we will do this believe stick by the team as the song goes faithful through and through 🎵🎶

Normally I'm very much a glass half full type when it comes to Celtic but I'm afraid this team are not better than the other teams in the league. We're not even better than Kilmarnock let alone the team that's above us in the table. Hoping for them to drop points v Hearts is desparation stuff from us, Hearts roll over and get their tummies tickled every time they play their big cousins.
We cannot even become the best version of ourselves due to a recruitment policy that has significantly weakened us since last season, and we failed to even try to rectify the summer disaster in January, and a manager so stuck in his outdated ideas on how we should be playing that we are boring to watch.
Off to watch the B team play QP in the Glasgow Cup this afternoon, watch the players who'll never be good enough and/or given a chance as our youth set up is probably the biggest shambles at the club over the last 15 years (never glass half full when it comes to the shambolic youth set up).

Don’t see what the panic is,so we are 2 points behind a inferior team, don’t think that’s all down to Rodgers some of our team have been off form some more so than others , everyone involved with Celtic know we have hit a bad patch and I’m sure Rodger’s knows and He is not denying it, attacking the manager is not the answer we have seen what happens to other teams when they make knee jerk changes Celtic need to work thier way out of it

I still believe we will do this. The huns are no great shakes themselves, they will drop points and we then will take advantage of that. Gaz know where you and fellow noisers are coming from, you all see nowhere out of our situation, it's only 2 Points plenty of games left. Could maybe I say maybe could see y'all your points if we were 10 behind. I still wouldn't give up. Celtic then Celtic now Celtic forever. HH 🍀🍀🍀

No matter my own thoughts on whether a player is good enough to play for Celtic; when he crosses that white line wearing our jersey, he will get my full support.

For any game in any tournament we live in that moment. Victory in any particular ninety plus minutes is all that matters.

When the game finishes, for good or bad, I watch it again if possible. The reason I do this is that I find it easier to detatch myself from my undoubted bias and desire for victory.

I'll never criticise just for the sake of it. However, the decline in the quality of our football is stark, and, for me, is of great concern.

I'll never give up hope; if there's a sniff of a chance we can come of the ropes' then I'll come out fighting behind the team.

Sadly, I can only do that as an onlooker.
It's down to everyone in a position of responsibility to show the required metal and desire. Players, coaches...everyone.

That's the very least we should expect.

Until they have to pay millions in comp for the poor victims.
Should have been settled years ago. The victims should have been compensated as soon as it came to light that those boys who played withe the boys club were being abused. Celtic should have imo recognized that the boys club was attached to Celtic. Abusers no matter who they are and what club they are involved in should be outed and let the law deal with them. My thoughts and prayers have always been with the victims and their families.
