Hearts v Celtic, Tynecastle, Sunday 3rd Mar, 12 noon

I’m not Rodger’s biggest fan.
But for once we actually seem to have a manager who is fighting our corner on issues we the fans deem important.
I hope he is doing this with conviction rather than playing to the crowd.
I’m giving him the benefit of my slight doubt to say well done, not before time
HH
I'm no body language expert; but I think it's obvious he is an angry man. He is also a man with a massive job to do.

To me the players let BR and us, down yesterday. What's the excuse for putting in below par performances. OK VAR screwed us over, but they have to be able to expect that and raise their game. We know they have it in their locker as we witnessed against Dundee just a few days before.
Even without our Captain playing its no excuse.
It was the same in Europe, beat Feyenoord then we got beat at home against Hearts in the league, at home as well.
I'm afraid to say this group of players are severely lacking in the 'bottle' department.
My expectations are now a lot lower, I just don't trust them with these Jekyll and Hyde performances.

The hearts goal offside that couldve made it 2 , wtf they doing why did it take so long when I could see he was offside no need for lines CCV played it perfectly and held the line.

Any VAR decision that takes a long time to be made obviously holds the game up.....this in turn kills our momentum and tempo and gives our opposition a breather.

It's a vital part of the MIB, VAR, playbook...

I get that friend and yes that changed the complexities of how we went about the game, but still did not see the energy out there that I like to see from our boys, jmo.

Regardless, a bad result but we go on. As I said, still all in our hands, just have to win the rest of our games in the league, beating them too obviously, and the league can still be ours.
Read your post again mr wonderful now that I’ve calmed to fuck down!!!your bang on mate outwith the penalty miss and the shite ref we were piss poor, midfield to front were probably the worst I’ve seen this season…👍

We seem to have forgot that we played that game for 75 minutes with 10 men- against 13 at least.
I believe that the way we started with 11, we would have won yesterday.
BIG decisions went against us.
It was blatant that there was no way, that Celtic were going to win the match. Especially with Beaton, on VAR.
It’s a cert that he will be involved at Ibroke, when we play them, MIB and only hun fans.😡

No the point in that instance imatim was u and I knew it was offside var and Beaton were searching for the chance to make it “on”….durty scum bastard…

Couldn’t agree more brim,,for all that big matts a silky gifted footballer he has a heart the size of a mouse!!that also applies to Bernardo,,I’ve stated many times that these two can’t play together as the sole midfield!!!but in saying that a don’t know what else Rodgers could do..let’s hope the players feel the same anger at being robbed as we do and use it for the run in???although??🤷‍♂️

Well said mate , some of our play was ok for 10 men and I've been shouting for iwata all season but he was all over the place, without calmac we lacked any kind of leadership in the middle of the park and at a club like Celtic that's just unacceptable.
The one thing going for us is that mob are worse and that's also pathetic.
That Idah is the only one who looks like he can play doesn't say much either.
The two resignations " to look for fresh challenges " is utter bs.
No one leaves at this stage for fresh challenges when we're near the seasons end I don't buy the lies for a moment.
So pissed off at that I had the missus saying don't take it out on me cos Celtic didn't win I had to wind my neck in.
Is calmac Celtic? Looked that way , I have the feeling the 2 left because the players they identify are always overlooked, but with a handful of games left they want a fresh challenge? Bullshit.
Sick of seeing 2 strikers only when we're chasing the game the players let Rodgers down and us I agree.

Just need to try and forget yesterday as it won’t be good for our health…livi this weekend I would play forrest Kelly vata etc and rest players (livi at home should be getting beat from any celtic side that we put out) then in 2 weeks hammer st Johnstone on Saturday then go top ☘️……regardless if we win league or not we need to invest in summer (can see a few big players leaving) play Kyogo on Sunday too he’s had his rest and hopefully he can score a few and get confidence bk up

I know he wasn’t a fan favourite but selling turnbull half way through the season was one of the stupidest things Celtic have done this season and there’s a list of stupid things that we have done this season ….and selling mj was maybe not the brightest idea either …..least turnbull can score a penalty

This is a opportunity for the board to take the pressure that they’ve self inflicted on themselves off,,with making the var decisions front and centre all week, the hunz done it with collum,,,get this rotten cheat Beaton and his sidekick robertson who seems to have escaped criticism??…he made final decisions??anyway like you say tommybhoy put it to bed for now!!move on to Livingston..

Indeed!

The thing is, either way, they either find something to use against us, or kill the momentum/tempo we play the game at, or both.

Add to that the massive benefit it is to our opponents who get to take a breather. It also allows teams to take on tactical instructions from their coach whilst the game is in a passive state.

Every one of these things has a detrimental affect on us and the MIB, VAR, know this.

Like I said previously. It’s a vital part of their Masonic playbook…

Remember BRs words they are writing a story, now i reckon the media understand what exactly he meant by that.
In fairness ...this time to BR ....he was correct in what he said the penalty was an absolute howler of a mistake everyone agrees....

However the 'Yang' situ not so ..... What was he thinking about ....could he not have headed it instead .....if indeed he even had to go for it at that position in the park with his foot higher than a ballerina ..... THAT is what changed the game .....

Yes red was harsh but in this day players know the deal...... Or correction they ..... should.....!!!! Especially in a game of this magnitude ....

All this in mind the stats were actually surprisingly ok and did not read too badly after the game with 10 men.....
However!!!! 😡 too many of the 9 outfield players did not perform when the chips were down .....

For those of us who 'sometimes' forget what Cal McG.. brings to this team it is 'glaringly obvious now!' and very worrying....reason below....

For all the hype about Matt O'Riley did he really step up in his absence ...??
Especially in a game to go back to the top....??

We have really missed Hatate .......( A player as previously mentioned BR seemed to suggest he could do without .....??)

Too many of them seemed unable to put the red card deal behind them and give 100% they did not even look like they could get a draw.....

It has to be said Bhoys / Ghirls how many of this team would get near to a top 11 side of previous best Celtic sides ....??

10 men of 'supposedly' better players have managed a result on many occasions against 11 ......

Well as a group they need to put this defeat behind them pronto....

Onwards and Upwards HH

I think a lot of fans are being harsh on Iwata. He has hardly been given a chance all season despite some of those chosen before him being off form. When he has come in he has done really well. I think yesterday was a fairly unique set of circumstances where he was missing our biggest player/captain, we were down a player so our midfield was being over-run, our defence behind him were poor and there was nothing going on in attack. Despite me posting the team-sheet at the start of the game I had forgotten Bernardo was even on the pitch and was thinking we'd have to bring him on at half-time, he was that anonymous.

Yes, he was poor and did get caught in possession for the disallowed goal, but there were much worse than him on the pitch yesterday (O'Riley, Bernardo, Maeda, Scales, Taylor, etc) and sadly there are a number of players who have under-performed for weeks in a row and yet still got selected.

I'm prepared to give him a proper run in the side, but it seemed like many fans were desperately waiting for his first poor performance to write him off (not suggesting you are doing this here, as I know you definitely are not).

Still sare this morning after that debacle yesterday.
It's now a long week until our next game when really we should have been on cloud nine.
I don't think a TV series is gonna help either I tried that last night but had no concentration after the earlier horror show we witnessed.

I think before the game I was a bit disappointed in big Sutty after Wed when he played down our battering of Dundee.
As he did say let's see what Celtic turn up on Sunday.

We knew what Mib/Var would turn up but I have to say he is correct when he says the only thing that's consistent about Celtic this season is our inconsistency regardless of the cheating we witnessed.

Don't get me wrong the injuries to all our best key players this season has been unbelievable and I won't go on about the signings but too many are just not up for the battle and seem to go into a shell when the going gets tough.

Now it's Calmac who is our big miss you couldnt write it...we might get by without him for the next two games but beyond that we would be struggling.

I haven't a clue how this fcuked up season is gonna finish to be honest as I'm clinging on to the fact that the huns are just as bad.

I'm one of his biggest fans but aye without calmac there he struggled still think he'll be a player for us when he gets thar run of games.
