Prohibition has never worked anywhere.
And it never will.
It took down the racketeers who profited from the trade and required licences to sell it, it also took away the dangers of the stuff having no helath and safety laws to monitor its ingredients and safe use in production.
Thats the 64 million dollar question. Maybe thats the answer to why booze is legal, maybe its profitable to all walks of life, Law and Crime, social work, Physciatary, pub trade, health care, charity, religion. politics, Maybe they saw the benefits of misery and the economics it creates, the sector it creates, maybe it is desiner crime in a diferent guise. Who knows? Why is it legal when it kills millions and causes great pain to millions? That’s my question. If E’s or heroin or coke killed as many what would the reaction be? So why not the same moral indignation? No consistency. Your drug is legal but should it be? And if it should why not all the others that cause a fraction of the problems as alcohol or tobacco?

Agreed and i also agree with decrimilisation of drugs in a controlled fashion if it is fruitful and a benefit to society.May be, doesn’t make it right though.

Being a bumbling fool who is generally incompetent and doesn't know if he needs a shit, shave or a shoeshine is though, Doc!I do not know the guy at all but using cocaine 20 years ago when he was a journalist seems to me irrelevant to his current job.
Thats it, and methadone was not the answer, it bloated and killed, straight unadultered herion in a controlled manner is the answer, you can function day to day on the right stuff and you can be employed on the right stuff, maybe they want crush the young ones and keep them from advancing in their minds..Agreed. It’s bad enough having a serious health issue without being demonised as well. We need to have compassion and learn that under current laws we just make a bad situation worse.

https://www.euanmyles.co.uk/calton-athleticThe thing that separates a conspiracy theory from a probable cause, is the likelihood of the conspiracy theory being promoted serving an actual purpose.
There has long been a theory (conspiracy or otherwise) that western governments have exercised an element of control over the influx of illegal drugs into their territories.
How do you subdue a disenfranchised subculture? Give them access to hardcore, grade A drugs that will obliterate any notion of an uprising within those communities.
As for methadone........it's soylent fucking green
everybody's got a past. Most of us are bright enough not to tell the whole world when we fuck up.Just saw on the news that Michael Gove has admitted to using cocaine 20 years ago. Tut Tut.
Now if that doesn't put you youngsters off, I don't know what will.
