Celtic v St Mirren, Saturday 13 April, 3pm - COYBIG!

Maeda's season should be written off now. With a hamstring injury you can't rush back too early and if Daizen did come back in the next 3 weeks or so then there is a good chance he could cause permanent damage. A player who relies on his blistering pace cannot afford to risk causing a weakness in his hamstring or this will keep recurring for the rest of his career.

Let's see how the CCV/Nawrocki partnership settles quickly. I think this is the CB pairing that we probably envisaged playing this season last summer when he was signed as Starfelt's replacement.

Mon the Hoops.

Great Line-up. Yang and Kuhn on at the same time is brilliant, IMO. Both are so good on the ball and can take players on and beat them and both have bags of pace. We will be dangerous on both sides. Teams are terrified of Maedas closing down and pace, but they probably feel he's more likely to beat them and hit row Z, than create a goal. But these 2 guys are going to give their defence headaches today.
I think it is a good move having both Yang & Kuhn on at the same time. We need them both, and Palma & Bernardo for that matter, to step up now it is at the business end of the season. Hopefully they will link up well with Kyogo, Hatate & O'Riley with lots of quick balls and fast movement.

I did think Idah would start today as he adds more strength up front. Maybe he is being kept to team up with Palma & Forrest later on.

Personally, I'd love us to start with a 3-4-3 formation at home against bus parkers to get more creativity higher up the pitch.

1 0 10 go for it 🤣

Celtic have a chance to open up a four points lead on the re-arrangers on Saturday afternoon at Celtic Park against St Mirren. With six games to go we have to look at winning them all and the atmosphere needs to be intense in all our four home matches. We don't need to worry about the away support giving the team their full backing in the two away games. Expect the same side that started at Ibrox to play and I'll not bother with giving you a prediction as I got my first wooden spoon last weekend! It was VAR's fault if you think about it...
If we win all our remaining games we win the lesgue, again. Hitting four or five today would do it GD no harm at all.
COYBIG.

There was only 12 minutes on the clock and already St Mirren were time wasting. Also, why no booking for such a blatant dive by the St M player trying to con a penalty?

Not enough creativity by us yet, so we need to play much quicker up front.

WTF? Both sides have a player down with a head knock. Both sets of physios are summoned onto the pitch by the MIB who then stops them from treating the St M player, so he gets to stay on but Celtic are down a player. This defender then blocks the goal bound shot. And then consumes another 2 minutes due to the head knock and has to be subbed off.

Surely every single head knock must be checked by the medical team before the player can continue?

What a fecking farce.
