More chance us signing Kurt Russell mate ,hear Jonnys a big Celtic man but never good enough for us.Too much uncertainty with Griff and Bayo just now so hope we bring someone in.Takes the pressure off big Eddy a bit aswell.

Jonny Hayes played upfront for the sheep a few times, not a long term answer granted but would be a decent shout if Eddie ,Bayo, Griff and Sinky were awe oot injured.

It will be hard to find a proven goalscorer for 2 reasons.
1. Trying to convince any striker to come as a back-up player is hard enough...but to be back-up to one of Europe's up and coming french stars would be a hard sell.
2. Proven goalscorers cost money....and I'd imagine peter will believe hes spent enough already....

They were talking about it on Clyde tonight, Bayo isn't really doing it for me yet, he's certainly not ready to be a long term replacement should Eddy get injured. It was mentioned that The Griff might be back in training later this week (don't know how true that is) I don't see anyone in Scotland up to the job, Cosgrove, Shankland, Ikpe, ikpaz, IKEA, that boy from Herz. So either someone from further a field or Sinclair, he was suggested on Clyde, to be fair as a short term replacement for Eddy I think he might be better than Bayo, he knows how to score.

Is Afalobi not a striker? Why not get him in to the squad? Get him up to speed with the 1st team training. Why buy if we've got the guy.

He would be a player to ease in through the season, Bayo is defo not the answer idon't see him being a success at all

If the league is tight, I expect the board will splash some cash on loan signings to see it through. If the board is doing their job right, then they should be buying the next Edouard as he will be sold at some stage. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if he plays next season. A healthy griff should be more than capable of playing up front, then there’s Bayo & afelobi. Bayo needs a run to see what he’s got, settle him in. 4-0 at half time, I’ve no idea why he didn’t wrap up eddy and give Bayo a half. I hear good things mentioned about afelobi, but likely a project. If they are all knocking on the door, it’s hard to imagine they’d be happy at another forward being brought in, and that’s the issue we have. I reckon part of Griffiths problems was seeing dembele being first choice, and Rodgers expecting him to be fitter.

It’s hard to imagine that sevco will still be neck & neck come the January window. Surely they are facing admin by then, or soon after.

Thought big Bayo played well when he started against Hearts ,looks a big physical player
