Sadly our Kingdom is dominated by England and no matter who votes outside of England and for whom then Scotland will get the choice of England.

I dont think Thatcher had the publics interest at heart. Now if you were wealthy and like empire and having no say in regional politics then Thatcher was a good option.

It looked after enough people in the rich areas of England to get landslides.

But imo she was an evil woman. The problems of UK now all stem from her Whiggish policies and despite calling themselves the Conservative party they would better be called the Neo Whig (socialism for wealthy/ slavery and extreme capitalism for those with no capital)

The fact she sold the countries assets at bargain prices to her friends and colleagues is a disgrace. But when you rule the MSM and the people think individually then you will always get those types running the free champagne clubs for the rich and food banks for the empathy crowd.

But it is problematic for Scottish people who dont rate the system and leads to situation where Scotland remains weaker than it could be as a result.

But the uncertainty of the future without union strikes enough fear into enough people.

But its very relevant since it means we have no real democracy over how Scotland maximises assets that are currently imo being subverted to benefit the south east of England.

Sad rather than irrelevant but they like destroying assets they cant use for their own needs and that adds to the fear factor in breaking away from an evil regime that is anti Scotland

But it further diminishes Scottish infrastructure to point that Scottish people will suffer while the very few in england get those much needed economic lifeblood.

But in eyes of pure capitalism that number game looks good on paper but weakens the poor and longterm destabilises the wellbeing of the country.

But health is major qualitative aspect of wealth figures that does not get an accounting number allocated

And IMO

if health declines as the accounting numbers rise then that distribution of wealth is not ecomocally viable.

But thats the flaw in the maximising wealth paradigm

It has no value for health or well being

Therefore the number crunching misses out the true value of wealth

And the number crunchers dont give a feck about social health or well being and thats the reason the world gets richer and fewer people hold the wealth over time.

And its the real source of all revolution.

Poverty numbers need to be allocated a number in accounting to get the true value added IMO

What seems to be missed by westminster and the south east of engerlund, is demographics,outside of Strathclyde and the central belt,we have sparsely populated,communities,in rural areas,the highlands and islands,dependant on tourism,agriculture and fishing,something the burgeoning urban population in engerlund are unaware of,or don't understand.

Think there is just a little lockdown fatigue at the moment and also that other world events have perhaps put sport back into some kind of context. I guess that sport has always been used as a bit of a distraction from other aspects of our lives. It was an opportunity to forget about work, relationships and other day-to-day factors that can make us anxious. We haven't had that distraction for a few months and the real world just keeps throwing up even more obstacles than usual at the moment.

Fortunately for the random zombie, their permanent fever dream doesn't allow them to awaken from their fugue, so they keep banging their big drum constantly and have no awareness of real-world issues. For more educated folk, like ourselves, perhaps we're looking at the bigger world picture a bit clearer just now and understand that there are more important things than sport.

Today, I will be mostly drinking gin........I don't k ow why, but I think it's important to experiment during these uncertain times.

I'm guessing the 13.6M who voted for her the year before were slightly more influential than the 60k who thought she was a cow? As I said just a guess.

Majority rules in democracy does not square the root of all evil though and 60000 that day I believe knew that. Black lives matter and their sympathisers still have to deal with a racist in power.
