The wage limit is due to Lawwell's 'buy them cheap stack them high' transfer policy. If we had a smaller squad, like the manager wants, then we could increase the wages for those in it and therefore attract players of a higher quality.
For that to happen though would require a youth policy that regularly produced players who could supplement the squad and eventually be part of a successful team. Unfortunately 3 players of note in 13 years, and counting, is a pathetic return.

But their point is why should we be in it, well the answer is simple. We are the champions of our country not some invited no mark who are spending someone elses money and still cannot win their respective league. The clue is there as to why we are rightfully there and also we are the champions of our country regardless of what group we are in. So mind your fucking manners ya pair of wankers.

Still beelin after last night,😡,why is it when we are attacking(and not just last night)our strikers and midfielders get man marked?but when any opposition attack us they have the freedom of the city??we struggled like fuck to break Ross county down because they went into a horseshoe defence line,,,livi do it as do hibs,Dundee,,,,,,,,why the fuck can we no do it??a would have took a two nil defeat,probably took a three or four defeat rather than that humiliation stuff…🙁hopefully we can shake that off against the dandy dons and get back on track,,,but we need to wise up in Europe….
 
Hard to take these results especially when we are forced to except our fate before a baw has been kicked.
We have not strengthened the team from last season and there can be no progress as a result.

I don't think we can fault the efforts of the players they are only capable of their level.
Hopefully this does not get into their heads too much and set us back.
It's simply not a level playing field in CL on so many fronts and that's not changing any time soon.
Need to get our sleeves rolled up and get on with it.

Rashford gets the Red card review treatment for MANU, Straight red after review. Although worse than Maedas and looks right decision. At least they played the replay in SloMo and not just a still image.
P.S Ellyonousi has just pulled one back for Copenhagen.
P.P.S Copenhagen level it to go 2-2.

I'd be very surprised if many, if any, of our board members or major shareholders are actually football fans let alone Celtic fans. Winning the league to them is nothing other than a cash bonus and a route to champions league riches.
This means they only have to stay half a step ahead of whatever mob are playing out of Ibrox.
And in terms of the champions League, it's all about the money. They give no shits about results. A free jaunt around Europe and a massive bonus at the end of the tax year is all they care about. Half the cunts probably wont even know what the score was last night.
