Atletico Madrid v Celtic , Uefa Champions League , Metropolitan Stadium, Madrid ,Tuesday 7th Nov 8pm kick off

I'd be very surprised if many, if any, of our board members or major shareholders are actually football fans let alone Celtic fans. Winning the league to them is nothing other than a cash bonus and a route to champions league riches.
This means they only have to stay half a step ahead of whatever mob are playing out of Ibrox.
And in terms of the champions League, it's all about the money. They give no shits about results. A free jaunt around Europe and a massive bonus at the end of the tax year is all they care about. Half the cunts probably wont even know what the score was last night.
We won half a million split 3 wiys ya moanin faced gityi

HH😉

Theres been a lot of talk about 'the board', but what about our major shareholder DD? They will do what he says, they've no option. So is he happy to have his football investment embarrassed in the UCL? Seems so, an if he's not interested anymore he should sell up an fuck off.

One thing, you can bet the Utd board will be kicking up fuck about the way these decisions are being made now that they've been on the receiving end of one.
Yep, but they got a really soft penalty handball so there will be the usual these things even their self out. VAR is on the way out i think, still same plonkers making decisions, Wait till AI kicks in and these fannies will be redundant. New technology , body technology, equipment and cameras will improve.

So the mighty Man utd can lose 4 goals away from home in the CL ....spent an absolute fortune on overated players and have an astronomical wage bill and they say we don't belong.
They've got 2 points more than us and lucky it's not just the 1point.
VAR is a joke yet again but no sympathy last night.
Well done Copenhagen.. one up on the corrupt fitba rich .

Correct, things will only change regarding VAR when it starts hurting the rich. Like tonight. it will be all over the blogs, Vlogs and troggs the morra cos it hurt ManU, never mind Celtic.

Just a reminder that over 4 years since he was bought, Harry Maguire is still the most expensive transfer fee for a defender ever in the history of football. He cost £80,000,000 when he signed a 7 year deal back in August 2019, and his base salary will be £9,875,000 in 2023 (although he won't be getting too many win bonuses on top).

What is the point of these cannon fodder diddy teams like Man Utd being allowed in UEFA's showpiece tournament? 🤣🤣🤣
