Bring Back the GREEN BRIGADE

Is it right the board have banned these Celtic fans?

They need to start acting like adults if they want to be treated like adults.

They are not in charge and, like the rest of us, they have to abide by the rules of the Club - even if they don't agree with them (in which case they need to make representation to have them changed).

We need everybody pulling in the same direction, their backing of the team during games is second to none,,pyro is the only problem,,display anything they like within reason and decency!!when celtic are in front at home all is well but when we struggle to break sides down the support can be on the nervous silent side which transfers to the pitch when the g.b aren’t there??so why shoot ourselves in the foot just to curryfavour with the Scottish hoi poloi…unless mr lawell and his Tory friends intend to get a bull horn and lead the choir themselves??let them back in….

"Addressed in due course". Extract from Club statement. Looks to me, as if the statement has been begrudgingly forced out of the club. Embarrassing. Something you would expect to hear from 'that other team over there' in relation to the face painter.

IMO there is enough coverage worldwide regards events Isreal and Gazza, thus, no-one needs to be reminded what is taking place, it is after all a sporting event and spectators arrive to watch football and cheer on the team.
If GB want to contribute to the Palestinian cause then it can be conducted outside with collections etc.
If picking a fight with a business who consider that statements in the crowd in the form of political banners or pyros deemed unacceptable with UEFA then it is clear there is only going to be one winner who will come out stronger if finance is affected in the form of fines.

Any person buying a ticket to a venue at Celtic Park will be aware that the ticket comes with behaviour deemed unacceptable and the rights the club has to void the ticket and prevent the owner from entering or be removed.

Support Palestine by all means but there are various ways to do this without damaging the club.

Of course we want them back but hey ho we live in a society where rules are made and while we might push the boundaries regularly just fxxxxxx ignoring them gets people a bit upset and surprise surprise they react. And what do you know they have societal right on their side.
Just ca canny GB and let us all unite behind our team from inside the ground. You are football ultras not political suffragettes

That's debatable Boab. They are doing what they believe. That's called free speech in my world and there is lot's of support from all over the world of their stance.

A think a must be the thickest cunt on the planet!!but I don’t know what or which law or crime is being done by the showing of another countrys flag??a get the banner was I’ll judged and timed??but to vocally back an oppressed peoples plight,,to be their voice is a crime??a get pyro is a big no no and rightly so,,,a back the g.b 100% and if asked to back them with funds to help pay fines am there...

You can claim free speech all day long, but if Celtic decide that certain behaviour is not acceptable then it is their gig and business and they can impose any sanctions they like, the option to go is your choice and they will simply punt your ticket to another customer.

I get that boab. But its not a play or a game of tennis we're watching. Its fitba, people get carried away, its called passion. And its not just a business, and we're not 'customers'!
