Well when Ayr Utd's manager, the former Rangers player Ian McCall, was busy trolling Odsonne Edouard on the radio over the last few weeks, he couldn't really have known that the footballing gods would transpire to put him on the front line against Celtic's best striker since Henrik Larsson on Wednesday night in the Betfred Cup.

It would have been perfect but Lenny has already said Griff isn't fit and will definitely miss tonight. As I'd save Eddy for the bigger games, I'd start Bayo and I have a funny feeling maybe Sinclair playing upfront along side him!?!?!?

He has been very far out of the loop this season, but he has a great goal scoring record against smaller teams and must be hungry to prove himself so he can be part of this history making season.
