Celtic v The Cairpit Baggerthugs and VAR Wednesday hame game 19:45 that’s Seeven forty 5

VAR made two different checks made on Kyoto’s goal one for offside another for a foul another mistery yet acording to reports Goldstone clearly handled the ball in his own penalty area it was clear for to see yet he was allowed to run up the field with the ball the supporters waiting for VAR TO INTERVENE they are still waiting it appears no team is safe from the sevco back up

Easy win. Very good in first half, a training exercise in the second and a chance to give a couple of new bhoys some minutes. Taylor motm for me. Ange has obviously seen the new tactic of the oppositions in the league to manmark CalMac, so he's moved Taylor slightly narrower into the space created by manmarking the captain and he was excellent tonight.
Maeda also very good.
Onwards to Sunday.

Could have scored a few more made plenty of chances. Checking Maeda's goal when the defender but it if him obviously trying to find an offside Kyogo's goal they were claiming ORiley fouled one of their players then to check for offside just at it. Abada foul every one could see the kick player was only going to foul him but no yellow card,I think Maeda got one for a lesser challenge. Second half Livi actually had a backline of 7 at one point.Best laugh of the night think it was Anderson trying to barge CCV and bounced of him.

Well I thought the second half was rotten - we were down 30% or more in effort and imagination. Sloppy too. Not sure if Ange tells them to drop off a bit ? Then the subs come on and it gets worse. How many actual saves did the Livi keeper have to make. Is it fair to play a 45 minutes of a training exercise and providing game time for fringe players on front of 10s of thousands of paying customers ? Delighted with Ange, the squad, the 9 point lead - all very positive. But just worried about slipping into a mindset of adequacy when we are capable of being a joy to watch and scoring even more than we do. Bored stiff in the second half - Livi didn't change the way they were playing - why did we ?

Not sure what you're unhappy with, a 3-0 victory against a side who came to defend and defend.
It's not easy breaking down any team like this let alone score 3 going on 6 with a bit of luck.

We don't have fringe players, that's what sets us apart from the rest , all of the squad are first team players , all contribute.
That's exactly what ange was saying after the game about it being important to give the new signings some minutes under the belt and that will help further down the road.

Bringing on subs can affect the rythym of the game but the real cause of that was Livingston being unwilling to take part in the game at any point

9pts clear + uncatchable goal difference it's the hope that kills HH 🍀

When were playing against a team of hammer throwers that play with 10 men camped around their own penalty box, it’s understandable when being 3 goals to the good that a certain degree of game management comes in to play…..keeping possession and not risking picking up unnecessary injuries, or leaving things too open, is playing things smart in my view…
