if your all looking for some entertainment for kids the local theatre to me is doing free showings of Xmas panto and some other shows
I’ve been the last few years with kids and it fantastic, very funny even for a sarcastic middle aged shite like me
My good friend Jimmy Chisolm is the dame and I’ve had more than a few too many nights on the red wine with him. He’s normally in town for the month of December and stays at a local hotel so we’ve gotten close over time.
He can’t get out of character for the month and takes a pelter for that. He also overlooks the fact Ive branded him Ronald ala villiers, so for those locals that have never seen him in river city or have seen chewing the fat they think his name is Ronald
Through him I’ve managed to have a pint with winston tam and Isa, Fae that other show that was quite popular amongst Scots.
