At the moment it was about getting through this tie. Winning 4-2 away from home should make this a certainty but we really should have scored another 3 or 4 goals.

But we desperately need to get in full backs and play a proper centre half rather than Bitton. Fitness levels must improve. I thought the new bhoys did well, CalMac put in a shift, Forrest scored and will improve with more game time and Christie did well when he came on. So a mixed bag but lots of positives to take as well as some glaringly obvious awful negatives.
 
Hartson (partially) blaming Starfelt for both of their goals. Utter crap, both goals were due to the glaring weakness on the right side of defence. Ralston and Bitton were dreadful and culpable at both goals. Any chances they had came down our right.
Middle to front we were very good, the movement and pace of the front three was great to watch. Turnbull still not firing yet but when he does his passing will exploit the pace and movement of Furuhashi, Forrest and Abada and lead to many goals.
Hart had next to nothing to do, no chance with the goals, the second one deflected off Ralston as he tried to block, his kicking not great but we already knew that.

Just goes to show, different games to different people
Ralston and Taylor played well, yeah so they're not world class, but they give 100% every game
Taylor moves into space in the middle of the park and shows for the ball, that helps take the pressure off us as we move the ball forward

We need a commanding centre half to sort out the defence, cut the backs some slack
Every week it's the same moaning

We won so I'm happy enough

Joe Hart not much to do but he's already showing that he communicates with his team mates, and he's brave in trying to block balls, a refreshing change from the past few games
Our two signings on the score sheet and Corpudswith another great goal
Don't understand why some want rid of him, listening to the MSM most likely
The Bhoys a talent and we should be trying to retain him
Apart from that, a win's a win and looking forward to the weekend, when the crowd will spur the Bhoys on to victory

Hopefully big Jules coming back will help
But we do need 2 full backs the ones we have give there all but that’s not enough.

Still think that there was far more positives to be taken out of tonight's game than the negatives imo.
Look back to scoring plenty of goals again and if more clinical this would have been a landslide.
Defence needs work obviously and will come about I'm sure.
This 3 in midfield dosen't seem to suit Turnbull yet and Christie may be a better option if Ange is to stick with it.
Abada and kyogo have all the makings of being very big and fantastic players for us, overall plenty to be delighted about with the improvements needed we still have all the makings of been a wonderful and successful team this season imo.

Bitton played an absolute peach of a pass for kyogos goal...that's what he can bring
Our main worry tonight was the space our midfield left when they turned the ball over putting our defence under pressure .. hopefully McCarthy will plug that gap...Soro is a talent but he needs schooling as to how to read the game in that position

Spot on. Exactly why Bitton had to play tonight, Horses for courses. Brings the ball out and carries it into a low block. Forces opposition out or if they don't he can pick a pass. Other games he might not start but tonight it was an easy choice, Starfelt brought the defensive side but doesn't carry the ball. That pass for the goal summed up his worth tonight

Thought Soro played very well tonight Docco.
With full back's more comfortable on the ball, hopefully won't leave us as exposed if giving cheap ball away.
Fairly high risk tactic still, but should improve with the confidence and better quality of player to play it.

Spot on NJ thought Bitton did the job asked of him me I’d put him in Midfield to anchor the team with wee Soro watching and learning. IMO
