That political party has always been the party of ‘sleaze’. To name the 60’s Profumo scandal, then the Thatcher years and the kerb crawling and private ‘parties’ with weans. So this latest sleaze fest of Pincher (the Parliamentary Whip) on a drunken frenzy. then the latest scandal published by Private Eye about Boris getting caught in a compromising position in his Parliamentary office (he was Foreign Secretary of State at the time) with his mistress (now his wife). A member of staff walked in on them.
Oh and just for extra he was trying to shoehorn her into a job in the Foreign office as Director of Communications with a six figure salary.

The swamp needs drained and a new world order would be good.

Politics used to be full of old stagers who for all their faults still had knowledge, experience and some sense of public duty.
Its basically all university yahoos now, too young to have any life experience to apply to the job and completely out of touch with the struggles of the man on the street.
When you can have expenses cover the cost of a lunch equivalent to a mans weekly salary, then sit n get steaming grabbing folks dicks in the commons pub…you aren’t for public office, unfortunately its all too common now.
There’s not many of them go into it for the career nowadays.

That hits the nail on the head, Rose. Sure, there are examples of members of other parties being sex pests or involved in forms of corruption, but those cases hardly register on the scale when measured against Tory sleaze! I am not excusing anyone's bad behaviour, but neither would I choose to tar all political parties when it is clear that one particular party has embraced the concept of rounding the wagons to protect their worst members.

Who would have though that brand new registered companies with assets of only ~£300 with no history of sourcing and delivering PPE could possibly fulfil contracts up to £100m for getting PPE from Asia into the UK? But never mind, cos many of them were friends or even relatives of high ranking Tories in Westminster.

As for the £37 billion wasted on Track and Trace which could neither track nor trace! Rather than a proper database it was an excel spreadsheet. Unfortunately they were using an extremely old and out-of-date excel from 2003 that only had 65,000 rows, so all of the millions of lines of data that they thought was being entered after these rows were full was actually lost!
