He will get back in amongst the goals. Celtics buy to sell policy never helped Griffiths IMO. He was never going to stay in front of dembele even if he hadnt got injured before the famous hunskelping game. Dembele was a young French up and coming star. Pete needed him front and center for future sales. And the same happened with Eddy. Now imagine you were Griff. Your goals practically won the league for Ronny and now you're second choice striker, all because you're a bit older and Scottish. In griffs head, which isn't the most stable of places as the media are all to happy to point out, you might think "what's the fucking point". Bayo, klimala, ajeti, eddy. All exotic names being brought in to play before him with the hope Pete can turn a profit.....but now he has to be the main man. Ange needs him the way ronny did. We might get that griff back maybe, just maybe...

Sorry Gary but there's no if about it. Griff is a natural goal scorer. AP could be the man to bring the best out of him. Most of Griffs demons are psychological. If he can sort his head out we've got a 30 goals a season player again.

Except he won't. Rodgers had his number and sidelined him, and even when Lennon gave him another chance he couldn't be arsed getting fit. He's either underperformed, or took the piss, for 5 seasons. You cant ask players to buy into a system/philosophy that requires completely new levels of fitness and a work ethic for the team then let a waster hang around for a final payday.
