You leave your bins out on the lawn, and when they empty them, more often than not, they leave them on the road, by the side of kerb, and sometimes, I get to chase our bins, as they are blown down the road and into traffic
One morning, I caught the guy and said;
"Hey pal, we can move the fucking house a bit closer to your truck if you'd like...put them back on the fucking lawn"
Funny enough, he understood my accent, and since then, it's been fine
We keep the recycling in the house until just before they pick it up, as there's a guy who cruises the neighbourhood, going through the recycling bins and taking the bottles etc which he can get money for
I wouldn't mind except, 11 o clock on a Sunday night, hearing him clanking through our bin, is not on
Apart from that, it's a gas
