Our local SunFest event was held today, brilliant sunshine and everyone loved making friends with our Georgia...some absolute classics and custom cars and trucks...I had a 1970 Corvette Stingray just like the red one featured...classic cars, a parade end vendor booths, always a fun time...years ago, I was asked if I'd drive a truck in the parade, led by our local PD Pipe band, it was fun, as a lot of our friends were shouting my name, (some classic shouts, from the Scottish contingent,as I went past) a nice wee memory for me...hope everyone's Summer is going well HH

8th annual car show, always a huge turnout
Lots of stuff to entertain the kids too and it's free entry which ensures a great family outing
ZZ top for sure Kelly, they had everything for the car enthusiast, I've had Chevys and Fords, the GTO convertibles are really cool
If I still owned my 1970 Corvette Stingray, I would be quids in as there's not many out there in great shape
My buddy had his custom built Acadian there, 550 horsepower, and another couple of friends, had their MGT, and a right hand drive Mazda Miata on show
My daughter's first car, was a 1992 Honda Del Sol, there was one just like it
It was a nippy little car, with a hard top convertible and it was cheap to run
I think you'd have fun on the B roads, in the big yellow Tonka pickup truck

Breaking news out of Hawaii, wildfires have destoryed parts of The Big Island, and also our favourite place to go on vacation...Maui...the beautiful historic village of Lahaina is gone, and people have had in some parts to jump into the ocean to escape the flames...the world is on fire...
