Regardless of what happens today Ange has done the right thing , he has to see what his back ups can do when we need them.

They're letting him down right now, Kobayashi is having a mare as is Bernabei but even 2down we're still in this one goal for us would turn this game.

Ange might get pelters for not playing his strongest but I get the logic behind it , it's a dead rubber and if this was any other spl side no-one would bat an eye lid.

At the moment though its advantage them in this 90minute cup final.

Yes. 3 of the back 4 have not been regular starters (and the 4th starts on the other side). This line up has not gelled yet. Maybe they never will.

Kobayashi starting away to Hearts then sevco is a pretty tough induction for him and to be honest he is struggling with the pace and physicality in these games so far - hopefully he will benefit from these lessons and be more streetwise next season.

Seeing as it is such a different lineup maybe startimg with Iwata as holding midfielder to offer more protection might have been a better option.

Jota and Abada have been pretty anonymous so far and there has been very little service to Oh.

This match means much more to one side than the other do Ange needs to give the players a reminder as to what this means so they come out harder and faster for the second 45.

Not overly concerned about the result, altough i would be nice to hammer the bastards. Im more the players attitudes. Winning the cup final and treble isn't a certainty. ICT will be right up for it...my concern is a lot of these players appear to be on their holidays.

Can’t say I’m too bothered. Would be better to be 2-0 up of course but it’s a good experience for bench players to realise you need to fight as well as play sometimes.
