SFA: Not fit for purpose

The Clubs aren't really the SFA. They have a voice, but there's a reason idiots like McRae representing the back end of nowhere can get to the top. It's jobs for the lads. As long as they look out for each other they are untouchable.
WELL PUT TJ as it’s an absolute farce now so it’s time US HARD WORKING TAX PAYING LEGITIMATE FOOTBALL FANS get treat like what we are ?????? THE BACKBONE AND THE REAL VOICE OF OUR CORRUPT GAME ?

Football is nothing without fans - Jock Stein

At least the clubs now have some level of input. The fans are still on the outside looking in. Really begs the question - who do the SFA serve?

[themselves]

We should pick our fights and only fight the ones we can win. Celtic have clearly been trying to build a broad alliance at the SFA. Peter Lawwell interview with Tom English was a call to arms to change the individuals on the Board. Ian Maxwell and the modernisers are now in control

The problem is that whilst we were successful in changing and getting rid of some of the old guard we didn't know if the new faces would be able to change. The thing is, if anything, the bias in favour of Sevco is worse with the compliance officer and Discipline department continuing to favour Sevco with some unbelievable decisions. Not only that, Ian Maxwell has performed badly in the child abuse issue and dealt with the matter in a ham fisted way. He didn't look competent.

We tried to get independent faces in charge but in looking for open handed fairness, we came down with the existing staff still showing their bias. McLeish is gradually getting rid of our players in the national team. McGregor in for Gordon, Robertson as Captain instead of Tierney, Naismith instead of Griff, Forrest excluded. He is also introducing Sevco players and it looks like McGregor, Jack, Dorrans and Murphy will be starters with only Celt Tierney, playing out of position.

We need a more functional plan than just replacing individuals on the Board. the SFA needs reformed not just changing the names

McLeish named Morelos for the squad until he was made aware that he was Columbian. Lol

You will see things changing now . There has been players let away with kick outs to favour certain clubs , but now the spotlight has severely been pointed at the SFA so expect the new rules to be blamed and that the SFA have seemed out guidance from UEFA and things will now be changed and referees have been informed appropriately and everything will be swept under the carpet.
Dont think that stands up now Selboy just look at the Devlin case at Aberdeen today. The S.F.A. ARE NOT FOR TURNING

I just cannot beleave that three refs ???? Can look at the McGreggor attack and it was a attack the man looked back saw the Celtic player on the ground and then the foot was lashed out to say no case to answer is a insult. Perhaps some players have a licence to kill supported by our very on M or in this case Mcleash ( don't ban the goalkeeper a I need him for Monday it's him or the Tim) it's a joke they charge Clarke but ignore the Livi man would they have taken the same attitude with Rogers! .bit tounge in cheek or is it

The way to fuck up the SFA is not any boycott, not banners, not petitions, not fan power threatening anything. They won’t give a fuck. The only way is for our team to continually hand their team their arses, with us singing and bouncing like maniacs.

That hits the cheating bastards where they live. They try everything to hinder us and still we smash them into a red white and blue jam.

You can close this thread now. :)

As another member suggested i think an organised demonstration outside hampden is a great idea. It would be great exposure if we got media attention and perhaps make them think again.

Good luck with that. A million people marched to prevent the gulf war. A ragtag mob with home made placards won’t achieve anything other than there is no real opposition. Unless you could turn out 30,000 I wouldn’t bother.

Would look pitiful if it was a wee bunch.

There seems to have been no major refereeing errors today, stand by for some honest mistakes tomorrow from Craig Thomson, his second Killie match in their last three, he sent off Devlin of Aberdeen against Killie which prompted the Aberdeen statement.
