I don't know who he is, but apparently he deleted his account because of this. My first thought was that he was being sarcastic, but his deleting his account now makes me think he wasn't. My guess is that he really wasn't a RATM fan and was echoing a common right-wing trope here about "being a fan of [something/someone] until it became political." Which, of course, is crap.
