Why do you think BR came back??

This isn't a thread to debate whether we think he should have come back...I think we have all made our feeling clear on that. This is more asking the question as to why he came back in the 1st place.

Once the board make a complete arse of this transfer window he may walk …. rather than be the patsy for us getting our arses handed to us in CL groups
 
2 reasons - Reason 1. A sack full of lovely lovely money! Reason 2. To keep himself relevant enough until the next EPL job he fancies comes around!

He couldn't give a flying fuck about Celtic or the manner in which he left, we're nothing but a vehicle to keep his bank balance topped up and his name relevant....given his previous I thought this would be obvious. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe his realisation that Lawwell being back visibly in power and the fact DD offered him a 3 year contract allowed him to kill two birds with one stone.
He knew Lawwell wouldn't change and being unemployed it was an easy decision to redeem himself with the Celtic support return as the prodical and expose PL as the real reason he had to leave first time around.

Seems ridiculous that he would come back talk about dreaming in Europe and then within weeks talk like a man who is estranged from the board and pointing the finger clearly at the lack of quality.

Anybody who knows anything about body language can see he is very uncomfortable.
His comments are confusing and seem to be digging up the board.

His prezzer this week will be of great interest that's for sure .

Everyone's different and criticising your employers too much probably frowned upon, but for the sake of any relationship repair with the Celtic support he needs to be more transparent more forthcomingly honest Ange style, we're not daft somethings annoyed him tell us what's happening and see the power of a celtic support united if we take his side
 
He came back cos nobody in engurland would touch him with a shitty stick ,so he's more chance getting a job when in work rather than out of it ,then the saudi pipe dream became reality and he's missed that boat ......it' must be eaten away at him

Oh and he was flogging himself around epl clubs, especially Leicester ,,3 months before he went ,,,, long before the rumoured clash with the board

the board didn't tell the team they lacked quality , they also didn't put the team out on the park

i'm starting to think things aint well behind the scenes, players dont like him or his style, board are unhappy with him for whatever reason and its been decided the only way to get rid without paying 12-15 million is NOT to bach him in the hope he fucks off/
These scheming fuckers know that CL group money in bank and whether we sign another player or not, still a good chance we will win the league

I think he came back
because it was another big wage
If he did well he gets another bigger wage when the bigger wage clubs take
if he doesnt he gets massive pay off to feck off
Board see the money ringing up if he does well with the price he commands when he getting trophies
He likes to be centre of attention and no having a big job means he gets no attention.
 
Feel a lot of the angers coming from spin to get the fans onboard ,talk of next phase in europe and champions league teams , 15m players then since the transfer window opened it's a daily feeding frenzy of names dreamt up in folks bedrooms and posted on twitter/picked up by the press who scour the blogs for snippets and run with them

Then when the sign for another team the rage goes up the rumours start all over again and whooosh , were off and running again

Maybe there is no signings , maybe there's is , the only folk who'll know are Celtic and McGowan at the sports mail

all the rest guessing the Sky guys never been right in years

Don't watch the pressers but seems folk are saying things are off behind the scenes , maybe were holding back to see what product were getting before blowing a load ,,, maybe not
 
I think Rodgers returned pure and simply because he loves Celtic so much and he wants to make sure Danny McGrain has a job for life.

I also believe he will deliver us a Champions League title and he will donate all his massive salary to the Celtic Foundation charity.

I also believe in Santa, the tooth fairy (have you checked out Brendan's gnashers?) and unicorns. 🎅🦷🦄

Rodgers returned because our board went for him plain and simple,,our board have a terrible record with appointing managers..tho they get very lucky!!ronnie Dalia ? You know Espirito Cancer must be taken out quickly especially if it's a tumor. Now lawell being to Celtic is that tumor. He must be sacked forthwith before he becomes that liability (if he hasn't already) too taking Celtic down with him

If lawell and Rodgers have some sort of vendetta against each other it’s celtic and our fans who will get the brunt of there petty shite,,unsettles everyone get one or both if we have to fuckin out of it….
 
Don't think there is any under hand gone on, just believe that we have been fucked with bad luck, i also imo believe that most of the transfers in todays markets are influenced by shady agents out to screw any club for as much bucks they can make. Celtic are a cautious club and TBF we have been scewed many a time in the past with shady deals for flops.
