Spot on mate. It's a costly mistake but he's far from the only one who should be carrying the can for tonight. From boardroom to dressing room there are people who need to have a right good look at themselves. Crazy thing about tonight is we looked fucking awesome in attack and looked like fucking amateurs at the back

True but not so crazy when you watch and see time after time for at least 2 seasons that we have no defensive midfield bar Broony, trying to cover it all.
No defense can cope with 2 close lines attacking!
Opposing midfield allowed to waltz in with a simple ball to the wing or over the top, because we have no fecking defensive midfield except for Broony actively closing down.
Ntcham is not a defensive midfielder, Mulumbu was more so. all bar Broony are attacking midfielders, we effectively play a 4-1-5 or 3-1-6 formation and any decent pressing side makes us look poor at the back because of it.
That said Bain is not a Celtic number 1, he's a good enough back up.

Turned out he ended up with neither and it just turned into a disjointed mess

Sore one tonight mate, we're all hurting and I now have major concerns about how much more backing Lenny is going to get for the players he clearly needs.

What I meant was that tonight was the most ruthless and most clinical we've looked in attack for a long long time while at the same time looking so breathtakingly inept at the back. 100% agree with the need for another defensive/enforcer type midfielder Jim, said this exact thing for this exact reason on one of the threads last night (possibly this thread).

As for Bain I do like him but he was suspect for last week's goal (Cluj) was suspect at the weekend with Motherwell's 1st and he was again tonight which is worrying.
