As you know MD, Forfar folk are well known for always speaking sense!
They have had to cancel several fundraisers including the annual Sportman's dinner, Lady's Day, etc, plus losing corporate hospitality revenue.
They usually operate sensibly making a small profit each year by living within their means. However they are going to lose about £80k that was coming in before the end of the season due to this virus.
So although ~£3k prize money would be welcome it will make little difference to their survival. They recently launched an online lottery which has been well subscribed to to bring in new money and are investigating other revenue streams rather than whinging to the BBC and Daily Rangers!
