Fis, I'll give you a great example of New Zealand sporting excellence and keeping to the spirit of the game.

When Brendan McCullum was the New Zealand captain, it became the norm that there would be no 'sledging', no disrespecting the opponents and always to honour the traditions of the country they were playing against.

Even in the last one-day World Cup, there was no greetin', whining or moaning after they lost in pretty dubious circumstances. They applauded England and congratulated the Kiwi who effectively won the match.

An outstanding example to sports teams everywhere and in any discipline.
sounds great in theory
Perhaps applaud the huns aff the park when they eventually beat us in 2026
Nah me neither …

No my personal bag either, mate.

Nothing like a wee bit o' unfettered hatred and toxicity towards those who have earned that hate.

I'll warmly applaud anybody that sticks it right up they bastarts though. I think that's sportsmanship enough.

In social football in Scotland at the end of the match do both teams go into a huddle and give the opponents three cheers, no matter the result and how bad tempered the match was as we in all team sports do in New Zealand. Just asking.
In social dating in New Zealand do they share a cigarette after sex no matter they type of sex and then amicably go their separate ways
That’s pretty sporting if you ask me 🙄

Can i have an answer to a simple question. After EVERY team sport in NZ at school or social each team gives three cheers for the other team. Does that happen in Scotland.

Oh, Stg.........I absolutely insist on a post-coitus handshake, even before I wash my hands.

In fact, I've not washed my hand since the last time I had that pleasure visited on me which probably explains the withering, claw-like stump I have jutting from my right wrist now. I also insist upon a warm round of applause, especially for all those wee swimmers that have to make that perilous journey up the fallopian canal.

Go on ye wee bastarts.........ye can do it if you really try!
