Praguebhoy posted something the other day about a young guy named Martin Jedlička who looks the biz. Get shot of the 3 keepers we've got ...... buy one of Hart or Foster and bring in this young guy as backup keeper. Thanks to Praguebhoy.... I am sure there are more like him around.

Fraser Forster should not be persued for any reason twice he has let us down by choosing Southampton instead of us, as stated earlier he could've stayed with us for the 10 and he would be a legend, but instead he headed back to the south coast and played a handful of games, so sorry, I don't want him back. There will be the argument for trying to get him back, but let's be honest here he is a mercenary, he's unhappy with the contract that Southampton want him to sign, but unless he is careless with his money then surely he has enough in the bank by now. That will always be the case regarding FF mancbhoy, but is it really the truth?
Wasn't the only player who didn't fancy returning to us, so can only assume all wasn't well behind the scenes and sure money played its part also.
This whole Joe Hart issue as I see it, is another attempt to try and put a wrong of last season.
Was heavily linked and yet we weren't to impressed last season, but would take him over the muck we have at present.
Still think it is a short term for a long term problem. We haven't had a proper no 1 in place for years now where the position is fulfilled for seasons to come.
With time against us and an ongoing situation then I would be OK with it for this season, which buys time to get rid of Barkas and bain so that the position can be fully focused upon next season.
Hope also it can bring about a change to this risky playing out from the back when we still haven't the players in position or good enough still to attempt such a tactic of play yet.

Can't disagree John, will we ever get to hear what really happened don't think so, I have to agree with you on the fact that it all seems to be too short term. Our 3rd keeper isn't good enough, we've loaned out young Doohan again. We let our other young keeper leave for down south. I'm not even sure if we still have a specialist goal keeping coach. If we have then we aren't getting a return from it. I know that both Gordon and Forster benefitted from him so my only conclusion is that the language barrier couldn't be overcome. If Hart does join then he is a decent enough keeper to relegate Barkas to the bench. HH
I think Barkas has to be removed full stop mancbhoy, loan him to some mugs so we can put it down to another bad experience. Take the hit financially next season when he becomes a distant bad memory.
Bain just as bad imo, but give him the no 2 slot this season and fuck him out also at the end of the season.
Still would have Hart as a potential no 2 when we can address the position properly next campaign would be my solution to the problem.

Doesn't look as if he's got much of a defence in front of him either
Horses for courses, the SPFL and living in Glasgow, and it's culture concerning football, is not for some of the players we're being 'linked with'
The pressure on any goalkeeper coming in as a saviour, will need to have a special kind of "This is my box, this is my ball, anyone who gets in the way tough titty, it's my job to keep the ball out"
I remember the Holy Goalie arguing during games with his defenders, pushing, shoving, and shouting at them, that's what I want
