Hearts v Celtic, Premiership - Tynecastle 8pm Kick Off

Wee Naismith the ned is still at Swinecastle, as football development manager, so you can be sure the studs will be up by his charges tomorrow
We need a fast start and get them on the back foot, lots of pressure right from the off
Plus the midfield need to help the back four out by tracking back when we lose the ball
We have enough to get a result apart from Boaby MadHUN being in charge
No doubt the Forres Gimp will be out to give it 'Red card, Red Card !!' against us again this season

Squad player at best for me, we need an experienced central midfielder to help out McGregor and free Turnbull to push further forward. Whatever happened to the Aaron Mooy rumour? He's at home with his family in Bearsden at the moment so wouldn't need to quarantine;)
No, sorry Gary - I think you make a lot of valid points but I don't understand the negativity about Soro without him getting a proper chance. I'll apologise if you are right but I think he has shown enough to deserve a chance. There have been much worse performers than him in the last few gsmes/years

Time will tell. I suspect the manager wants someone more experienced in that position for now, he was supposedly wanting Aaron Mooy but maybe outwit our price/wage range. I see tonight that the annual James McCarthy rumour has re-emerged. McCarthy (or a similarly experienced DM) and Soro sharing the 60 game load would be ideal for me, but the experienced player when its the bigger games. Wouldn't write Soro off by any means but too soon to be the main man over a long season.

I must admit that the headlines about DD getting petsonally involved meant players like McCarthy being signed. Personally I think he will get stuck in but I'd have preferred him at Parkhead 10 years ago on the way up.

Celtic should never be a retirement home for Celtic fans on the wane
The young Bhoys deserve a chance as they are the ones in the system and training every day
Get new players in to augment the squad and help get us back on an even keel but as far as some of the names mentioned, thanks, but no thanks

Sunday morning 7am start for me to see us take on the Hearts. I'll have the breakfast eggs, bacon, black pudding and even square slice (with real meat -Lorne sausage) haggis , toast and coffee as I watch the game on computer. (are you salivating yet?) A culinary thrombosis -a clot in the kitchen.

Sounds lovely, just inject the Myocardial Infarction, right into the veins
And your Man of the Match prediction is ?

The sausage is over a centimetre thick unlike the thin breadcrumb shit in Glasgow i grew up with. My pick for MOTM is Calum McGregor
CalMac, seems a safe bet
Now, as for the Glesga slice
Can't speak to that, however the Greenock square slice was substantial, otherwise there'd have been a riot in McKechnie's the butchers
'We hae meat that ye can eat' was the motto
Mon the tattie scones !!!
Man of the Match for me ? I'll go with Turnbull

You cannot buy tattie scones in NZ shops. ( perhaps that's a business possibilty for a scots immigrant). I have to make them. Perhaps it's my memory but are Glasgow tattie scones still a few millimetres thick and tend to dry out quickly. The ones I make contain mashed agria potatoes, some flour, baking powder, lots of butter, cream and salt. You mix this up in a baking bowl and then roll it out and cut it. I make them a cm thick and circular just cos i can. Fried in ghee or olive oil. We sell lots of hash browns and rosti but I've never seen commercial tattie scones.

30 years old isn't a retiree joining the squad. We need a couple of experienced 30is year olds to help the youngsters. Players of the quality of McCarthy or Mooy for example could, IMO, be very good signings

I should maybe have made myself clearer, so to avoid any further confusion...
I was obviously not referring to McCarthy or Mooy, but guys like Roy Keane and such who speak of a love for the club and 'playing in the hoops one day'

Oh well, at least you can make them, so it's all good
It\ll be interesting to see how Craig Gordon plays tomorrow
He has something to prove, and will be up for it I'm sure
No matter 2-0 to the Bhoys

Love Mooy to join the squad, not sure who you would put in at the moment if McGregor was unavailable, seems to lack another steadier in midfield which would be right up Mooy's alley.

Having a crack at a starting lineup I'd go for Bain, Taylor, Starfelt, Welsh, Ralston, Shaw, McGregor, Rogic, Christie, Ajeti, Abada.

Soro and Turnbull to come on at half time, Forrest and Furuhashi ( hopefully) as attacking weapons in the second half.

Gary McKay Steven suiting up for the Jam Tarts tomorrow
He was a tricky player when he turned up, hope our full backs are ready for the running game, as I think they'll try to push us back on the wings
Communication is key between the players, and covering when the defence is getting pulled out of position
I think we won't see the new Naka for a week or so, and Rogic usually comes on in the second half as he's not got the engine from the off
Bain in goal
Ralston, Welsh, Starfelt and Taylor
Turnbull and McGregor
Jamesie, Ajeti, Christie and Abada up front to start, would be my prediction

My guess

Bain
Ralston Bitton, Starfelt, Taylor
Turnbull McGregor Christie
Forrest Eddie Abada
Think I might go with the same although I would replace Forrest with Soro.

Don't think he'll want McGregor sitting deep somehow. Abada on the right, Christie on the left.

I might also be tempted to play Ajeti instead of Edouard. It's as plain as the nose on your face Eddie can't be bothered so why not at least play someone who cares?
