We dont have the luxury of sending him out on loan but I wouldnt anyway . Not on the back of admittedly his poorest performance for us but domestically hes good enough, weve seen that.
We have to remember that whilst that mob are doing well in Europe they are miles ahead of us in being a unit/team. 4th season to our 6-8 months. Dortmund have been dealt a similar blow to us and that's a team playing well on the night can beat you regardless of finance and budget. Players like scales have stepped up from shamrock rovers to Celtic and Ireland's international squad and high level European football in the quickest time frame. Same for orielly mk Don's GG venlo , we have calmac ,hart maeda,bitton and some others who have played at the top itll take time for the other less experienced to fully adjust to that level.
This group , new team has probably overshot expectations for Europe by still being in it until tonight.
Winning the first trophy and taking top spot in the league has seen expectations soar into some believing we could win that cup.
Truth is itll be nothing short of a miracle if we can see this season out as champions.
The hibs game is massive and we have a goal difference cushion worth a point.
It's going to be all hands to the pump.
Every league game now is the biggest for years.
We have to keep our feet on the ground and fight like hell.

I do though think that we need to be wiser in our approach and make earlier substitutions in domestic games when it isnt working. Ange has worked miracles but there is still a big improvement needed if we are to have a really good season. We have a good first 11 but we've never had them all fit and our second string has not stepped up very well when they have had the chance - with the odd excrption. it will be interesting and I am not sure the Rankers have the bottle under pressure - sure they all want to be in the shop window in Europe but not sure when they are struggling domesticallly in front of the mordor klan. Here's hoping we can stay ahead and put the pressure on.

Sevco added to the misery and no combo helped my bets. If Celtic just scored at least I was still live going in to the Hun game. Fair play to them, they seem to have found a knack of winning in Europe. Fuck knows how.

As for us, back to back poor performances. I don’t care what folk say in terms of their quality, past results etc, but when so many passes go astray, spaces are open so big and so often, then surely the players need to look at themselves. Been very little energy since half time at sevco game. As much as I love ange and buying in to what he’s doing, his playing rogic and O’Riley again for 2nd week is mental. It looked like he threw this one sssy to concentrate on the league, but still played GG, maeda etc then brought on Abada McGregor… it’s like he was committed to neither option of going for it or prioritising league. Between this and the kyogo at ibrox, kyogo playing after the cup final, rogic and O’Riley… he’s made a few clangers

Like the majority of the players Ange is also adjusting to being at Celtic.
I'm gutted about the tie but overall in Europe not so much.
I think he gave those bhoys a run out at the end anyways but hoping that they couldve come on to a tie we were still involved in and that mightve worked but for the 9th min goal.
Bodo as good as they are were limited to few chances over both legs but good enough to take theirs when they came and we didnt.
It's the only reason I can think hed bring them on was to keep them sharp and in the game with hibs coming up.
I've never seen Celtic so flagrantly dismiss a European tie in my life that's definately the case. I've seen English clubs and big foreign clubs do it but never us and that's new for us all to have a manager who says " yes Celtic in Europe " really hes focused on the title so hes also playing the game with the media and keeping everyone on their toes.

Over the 2 ties, watchin Dortmund was like watchin us, at times they looked unplayable, but unfortunately they also had times when they looked unpalatable

Can’t beleave what the daily crap just printed in thier rag today claiming that the atmosphere in Ibloss was declared as the best in the world, even they could not miss Sevco mugs attacking the German teams supporters from both sides they could not have missed the steward’s trying to stop them what used to be a well liked and respected paper has sunk to the lowest depths mind they probably took thier lead from the players representing them on the pitch,best atmosphere a battle ground more like. I get the disappointment but some go over the score and others are expecting too much too soon aswell we are all really disappointed but at start of this season most had wrote this season off domestically so to have one trophy be top of the league and still In the scottish Cup 2 windows into a rebuild I think is real good progress if next season after another good transfer window and we're still shit in Europe then we can moan until then back the team for these last 13/14 games HH

Absolutely - I'd look to bring in him and the left back in.

Maybe even keep track of Hugo Vetlesen who was excellent in their midfield and finished nicely to make it 2. Hell, even their CBs look like they would be a nice fit for us.

We're out and back to League and cup duties
They went on and are back to Thursday's and Sunday's

They haven't the squad for that
Jack is a fragile little twat and Kent isn't far behind so they'l lose players and drop points while our injured players come back in

My own feeling was that Ange was brought in to oversea a rebuild and finish second at best.
He's exceeding that now
Maybe we got caught up in the hype post derby day but the Europa has proved to be a bridge to far.

Remember where we were under Lenny and consider where we are now and how we are playing now
