Ange will know that performance was nowhere near good enough from start to finish.
Sometimes you get what you deserve and unfortunately today that was the case. We need to pick ourselves up and get ready for next week. No more performances like that ...far too nice imo ...and never showed our energy.

Yes we were poor but Madden allowed fouls on Celtic right in front of his nose, he turned a blind eye to second bookings.
Cannot see this kind of refereeing ever being eradicated in Scottish football.

Feeling really gutted, trying to console myself with the fact that
they still haven't won anything despite all the stops being pulled out in their favour.

This group of players have been superb, could say some have played above themselves. Let's hope they are feeling the hurt and go on and give us the right reaction. Be single minded about taking each game as it comes, and winning it.

Great point, Frank..........some of the new lads have to take a lump or two to know what it really means to pull on that shirt.

They have been praised. They have been lauded. Now - they know all that glaze means nothing until they prove it when it really matters.

In the grand scheme of things, the Scottish Cup is a trinket, but I hope a valuable lesson was learned today about EVERY game meaning something to US.

Think that was blatantly obvious as we had no physical presence up front at all.3 wee guys up front.

It was disappointing but not going off the deep end because of one game. We lacked any fluency (so did they) but they were stronger in midfield, while we were crying out for a Scott Brown.

That said, CCV makes it 2-0 and it's game over.

Looking on the positive side, this means we can focus completely on winning the League. And I would have taken this situation at the start of the season.

Jota has been an empty shirt since his injury. Really want the boy to do well, but there's a reason why Benfica want rid and today probably showed the reason why.
