Cinch Premier league, CELTIC v OFFC

There’s games we need a bit more physicality in the team, especially against teams like the Huns.....the number of physical encounters we lost today wasn’t good.....and they won many more second balls, especially in the second half than we did.....which to me is indicative of them wanting it more.....and too many of our players waiting for someone else to do the business instead of leading by example.

Nerves no doubt played a part, which may be understandable with such a new and inexperienced team put together so quickly.....and imo there’s also games we need to tactically adjust from the regimented 4-3-3 we play, as our midfield wasn’t in it nearly enough, especially after half time.....and as much as I like Joe Hart, he should be smart enough to know there’s times you don’t fanny around at the back.....and he should be upset at himself for getting beat at his near post.

All in all, on our second hand performance, we rode our luck, which I’m gladly happy to accept.....but we have to learn from games like this.....manager and players alike, imo.....one final big collective push needed now to get us over the line...

Would have taken a draw at the start, but should've been out of sight by half time. We will take care of Edina's wee Huns next week.
On the whole a disappointing performance but a decent result. We are starting to feel the effects of a hard season BUT we are almost home and dry.

We definitely need more physicality in our midfield. I believe Ideguchi has this in his game so I wonder if we will see him more next season in this type of role. Of course, he would have been performing these duties over the last few months if Barry Bawbag hadn't sent out his Alloa thugs to deliberately crock our players before the crucial Glasgow derby game.

IMO, we need to strengthen in a defensive midfielder player and I'd love free scoring poacher too as we are squandering too many goal chances in these big games.
 
Well just in and all I can say is what did they tell the players at half time because they nearly gave it away Down our left side Taylor mostly had no cover and they were man for man when we had the ball yet we stood off them allowing them the space to pick passes at Will ,most will have had palpitations when we kept trying to play it out from the back but have it away fortunately no harm done just means we wait to win the league
 
Disappointed must say shouldve /couldve been 4 up at ht Abada shouldve started rogic as well imo 2 pts dropped missed opportunity to win it v them but it's as we were so still it's there for us but hatate was well off it most others played ok thought hart couldve got down quicker and saved it but we move on champions elect 3 pts required 2 home games we'll get those pts no worries just thought we had them today but 2nd half we cannot be happy with that never HH champions again ole ole HH 🍀

Really thought wed see him today instead of hatate who needs rest hes shattered and a passenger give Gucci his chance im certain he wont let us down HH

Thought we started poorly but knew we would grow into game ...abada has been terrific for a young man in his first season but can fade in any game ...yip hatate not at it today but he has been key to our run since January so can't complain.
Rogic targeted last Derby so obvious why O'Riley in place.
Not disappointed mate ...Happy we never lost after all our efforts over the course of the season....giving us the opportunity to be champions ...can't wait. 🇮🇪🍀💚

Just in I'm not disappointed either but hatate looks fucked the wee fella they huns can shout about winning the second half again all they want🤣 we after a 30 odd point swing are champions again s u knows as u know hun fucks 🥳🥳
 
We seem to be getting hung up on the fact we didn't blow our nearest challengers away today ...the same challengers who beat us in the last game we played them.
Huns are quite clear ...they know the league is over ...it is they that are hurting today.
They are putting all their eggs in one basket now on Thursday...got a good feeling about that one to be honest.
However what they do means nothing as their history from the current club to the old club is full of hatred and controversy.
So quite simply Fuck them .
 
Context is everything !

We are , rightly , disappointed that we didn't win today , but...

This time last season what would we have given for even a draw against that mob ?

How many of us anticipated being in THIS position at this time of this season - six points and a barrel-load of goals in front of them ?

How many of us would have settled for a League Cup win back before Christmas ?

How many of us could hand-on-heart say we expected to win the League this season ?

Jelly and Ice cream in the fridge - won't be there long !!!
