I understand the politics of anti monarchy and anti imperialism.

But there is a time and place for it, imo.

Invective under cover of freedom of speech is something KKK promote.


I would vote for republic if given chance. But I suspect in this country and uk generally most would vote against it. To attack the head of church of England could be described as sectarian hatred. Why people supporting our club feel need to antagonise and stoke hatred agains a family that technically are accepted by our democracy is pretty small minded imo.

the people in this country who support the monarchy also have rights.

Even after french revolutions in 1700s and 1800s

the first democratic vote after each of revolutions by the republicans resulted in massive landslide votes to reinstate constitutional monarchy even with universal male suffrage.

Only after the Prussians smashed France did the big republic take of after 1870s and it was a fascist style republic geared towards vengeance against the new German Reich, which led to world war 1 eventually and reversal where germans were turned to hatred against maltreatment by french treaty which lead to right wing republic in germany.

Was the russian revolution good for poor people in Russia?

I think the saying about power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely is probably right our monarchy has relatively little power these days so they have a limited influence where as some of the historical ones that had absolute power we’re pretty awful I’d also say that a lot of bad shit has been carried out in the name of various Gods the fact that those republics were atheistic was purely because the dictator or state was to be seen as the highest power,I think without checks and balances any authority be it a dictatorship a monarchy,a democracy or church can and do get out of control given half a chance it’s not so much the system at fault although some systems are terrible it’s the people and the culture they grow up in that shapes them some folk are just cunts

I think we have a few dictators in our support who dictate what Celtic represent by doing the very things they claim they feel is rank rotten.

Power without humility is liable to corruption. But most humble humans avoid power and when they do get power by popular support they are usually assasinated by the peepo who want to dictate their terms of pride on everyone.

Shouting abuse at a funeral parade should never be called freedom of speech since its a solemn ceremony for those who want to say goodbye to the one who died.

Abusing people who are dead with uncouth propaganda at football matches should not be part of freedom of speech.
