Celtic v Ross County, Saturday 27th January, Celtic Park 3pm

Keevings hoping the board and fans will be on a collision course, don't let it happen that's what they want. Just keep winning and claim the title, then we have the season book renewal to negotiate, Moaning on air will not help our cause.

I’m sure that will be repeated on here.

Some will say what they believe to be constructive criticism…..and others will be here to stir discontent…..the secret is to seperate the two…..it’s not too hard to distinguish between them…

Rodgers should let us know what he wants and the fans will put pressure on the board, but, the deadwood needs to go. If we bring in more players without getting rid off then we add to wages.
Rodgers said at the AGM a couple of months ago that he wanted to bring in 4 first-team ready new players.

The people responsible for bringing in that deadwood are mostly still at the club picking up a wage. And doing feck all to bring in better replacements, because allegedly you can't do good business in one of just the two opportunities to make these changes.

If any club can afford to pay half a dozen players who are simply not good enough for the standards required then it is us. Punt them out with the youngsters or as a group in their own.

I don't care if we make stupidly high profits or not. I want us to buy the best possible players while running a sustainable business. Hopefully that results in exciting entertainment and success.

Absolutely shameful that the club has given that other lot a sniff with shite performance after shite performance and are now in a dogfight. Let down by a board who have the square root of fuck all ambition and sadly a manager who seems more and more came for the coin.

If Rodgers really is a football man, why the hell does he play with Kyogo in the way that he does? Surely he saw how effective he was last year and how good his scoring record was.

Having him come back to look and/or collect the ball from midfield is bound limit his goalscoring opportunities.

And that's before we even consider our conversion rate!!

It is not rocket science.

Just back from the game, whoever said that Joe was our Motm needs their meds changed very very quickly.

We started of sloppy and got worse as the game went on, not for the first time today we were disjointed and if county had scored we had no one other than Calmac to pull us out of the mire.

Bernabei has played himself into a loan move with Ayr if he's lucky and the Twins looked more like Arnie and Danny Devito today and both had their worst games for us..

And whilst I'm on the nutters yesterday that moaned and downplayed CCV signing a new extended contract with us need to go and take a right good hard look at themselves.... They've acted like spoiled brats because the board haven't spent... Its fine to be upset with that, but ffs one of our best players has agreed an extension and you are looking for excuses to bash the board... Get a grip ffs...

Fair point 50...but announce CCVs contract on the 1st of February. The board have taken that fan fair away from one of the best CB we've had at Celtic park in a generation, simply to deflect from their awful handling of the tranfer window.
They expected the Celtic fans to he dumb enough to fall for it. The announcement came when it did to cover their own failings. A slap in the face to CCV and the celtic fans in my opinion.

He was honkin today when he got a touch !We take an eternity getting the ball forward letting teams settle into that low block shite! We looked clueless today giving the ball away constantly.I'll just hope it turns out alrite but playing like today we will drop more points.

Heart was in mouth when he spilled that shot at the end then took an eternity to smother the ball.I can see this being his season at Celtic.

Leave it another week Lubo and he might have been tempted by someone else, I know he was still under contract but vultures can still swoop... To me it was the board protecting an asset for a while longer..

I think Lubo meant get CCV signed up now but announce it on the 1st February. To be honest with you, I never read any fans downplaying this or slagging the board because Cameron signed an extension. I thought everyone was delighted with that news. He is arguably our most important player so it can only be good news to proactively sign him for longer and reward him for his efforts so far.

But that is a separate subject IMO to our lack of efforts in recruitment of new players (which is surely conducted by a different department than the one that deals with players already under contract, although everyone will be signed off by the same person?).

Just home from Paradise and thought I'd do my usual thing; you know, come on to The Noise and share my thoughts with you extremely knowledgeable and reasonable minded good folk. I'm scratching my napper to find the words to give my post some meaning, while at the same time not wanting to seem to be succumbing to the kind of knee jerk reaction associated with simply being a bad loser. ( I know, we won, just doesn't feel like it )

Thing is, the only words my grey matter seems able to muster are, well, inept; turgid; mediocre... and a few less than acceptable to a family forum. At the same time I ask; was it just a bad day at the office ? A mere few seconds thinking about the answer to that question is all wee need. Of course, the answer is no: we've witnessed far too many such abysmal performances this season for it to be simply dismissed as an off day.

The performance ? I'll leave it to Sandman to dissect and analyse the input of each individual. For me there were warning lights flashing in every area of our team. The failure was of the collective type. Very few escape criticism.

I know, I'm probably going' to incur the wrath of some of you by consistently regurgitating the same old, same old. However, I can't help but come back to our complete lack of genuine ambition from our powerbroker's. In their eyes, mediocrity is acceptable if it keeps us ahead of our rivals from the Southside.

As things stand, though; I'm not too sure that's a given.

This has a feeling of lennons last season written all over it we are heading over a cliff the brakes need to be applied now ,dermott Desmond the board and the manager need to get together, every fan can see we need reinforcements in 4 or 5 postions and not just the usual projects but men who can make a difference and enhance the squad. Iv never seen kyogo so ineffective, it's obvious he's not being played to his strengths that's the managers fault no one else's. Thiers better team's in this league than Ross co and they would have scored at least 2 goals today it's no wonder the fans were angry at the end it was covid season display no doubt about it and its no wonder we are seeing the tifo of "DONT SLEEP AT THE WHEEL" being shown again, something needs fixed and quickly before it can't be.
