I might be wrong, but I seem to remember him saying something like 'all my good players have been sold and replaced with rubbish .' It's ironic that the good players he has now are playing way below their best under his management .
I don't buy it . They are all highly paid professionals . Sevco seem to be coping alright with lack of fans . If anything , the pressure should be less because the fan's would be getting on the players backs if things weren't going well.
St Johnstone manager has said he didn't think there was any malice in the tackle . He must be more interested in getting a gig at Ibrox than in protecting his own players .
Fair point , he probably learned more in a week from Rodgers than he has the whole time under NL . Still doesn't make him ready for Celtic though . A couple of seasons at a smaller club first
I'm sure SB will be full of ideas on tactics/training/player development he's learned from Neil Lennon.
.... On second thoughts , mibbe no such a good idea .
If you were to ask me to describe the profile of a billionaire businessman I would be using words like ruthless , decisive , unsentimental , strong willed and stubborn .
I can't understand why only that last bit seems to apply to Dermot Desmond where Celtic's concerned .
Griff at his best is a player I love , a truly top class striker . He's not been near his best though and took his eye off the ball after all the support the club gave him during his personal problems .
