Silva left the pitch without a booking. In facts no bookings were administered to any sevco player. But Silva got AJ booked and somehow won a Tavpen to get his side back into the game. He is a disgrace and I hope karma strikes him (or Sean Tbl Tbl).

This thing that tv pundits have created where they review ultra-slow motion replays trying to find a slight brushing of the leg of an attacker so they can scream "there was contact - therefore it has to be a penalty" has helped cause this.
They ignore the fact that the attacker was already diving (this is different from riding a tackle where the play ensures his foot isn't planted to avoid potential injury) and often the attacker has initiated the contact.
Over the years, players from every side have adapted to using these as a tactic to win free kicks, penalties and get opponents into bother. But Cantwell & Silva has exaggerated these dramatics to another ridiculous level. I thought Ryan Kent was bad, but these two fakes are horrendous. Not only do they get rewarded for their ludicrous antics, but they get praised to the heavens for them.
Meanwhile, it is Kyogo that gets slaughtered by the staunch media for being a cheat despite being targeted by hammer throwing thugs in nearly every game!

He got allistair Johnson booked then dived twice in the box to try and get him sent off .
The latter one leading to a penalty award .
How many times over the years have we seen refs err even more on the side of caution when a player has previous of simulation even just in a season never mind the actual game .
There is never a snowballs chance a celtic player would get a decision like that if he had been diving all through the game ,never

I actually remembered it as Silva's third dive in the penallty box to try to con a penalty. The guy has a fair bit of skill but is an absolute disgrace. Like Cantwell, Silva has finally found his home where he will flourish.
But the over-the-top theatrics of the two am-dram pantomine dames will be rewarded by Scottish MIBs, rather than punished for being cheating arseholes as they should be If the refs did their job properly.

This is how you end up with the bizarre statistic that Beaton awarded 23 fouls against Celtic but only 10 against the klub he supports. And remember that 2 of those 10 fouls were only awarded later when VAR stepped in - so Beaton only blew up 8 times against sevco, and the first of them was after 20 minutes played!
In 76 senior matches this weekend in the UK this weekend, none of the other 151 sides came even near to Celtic's 23 fouls committed!
We have been told Beaton isn't incompetent so he must be corrupt.

Makes it easier for cheating to continue and fills the panels with sell outs, reason why Sutton is hated is because he calls it as he sees it and even with VAR, Sutton will call it and correct himself if wrong, he at least calls as the ref sees it, he watched the footage and insisted that unless full footage is in full it is a dive, he was aware the complete build up was not showing in full and that was, that, Johnson got to the ball hence the fact the ball went the other way and Silvia an other way. Had Silvia put the ball left his body would have been going that way, instead he went straight to Johnson and his trailing leg to imitate a kick.
