Is it right the board have banned these Celtic fans?

The unfortunate thing that the GB are forgetting is if the board decide to revoke their season tickets there isn't much they can do about it we all go to support and back the team some more vocally than others, it looks like it's a case of its ma baw and if I say your no playin yer no playin end of.

A think you might find this could’ve been sorted out last week? but with armistice day on the horizon someone somewhere decided under the present circumstances way the hamas/Palestine protests rumbling away the embarrassment of what the GB might have came up with and knowing cunts in this shithole country waiting to pounce on us

Like a few others on here, I started to wonder if the board were wanting a GB free Remembrance Suday? Yet another year of outrage directed at the club is not desirable so let's try to minimise the risk while putting our Ultras in their place. The Bhoys boycotting today in support of the GB is probably a bonus to the board! There is nearly a fortnight to get this sorted before we host Motherwell on the 25th.

I read that it wasn't the Palestine flag display that got us the fine, but a fan had a flag for Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) at the game, which is apparently on the banned list! Just any excuse for UEFA to grab money from the clubs. We also got fined for fans standing in the stairways (I think they hit us with that one for a lot of our matches - I wonder how much sevco get stung for that???) and possibly for a flare too. I'm sure the GB will still get the blame of it though.

BBC’s discreet correction on Green Brigade’s Palestine flag display causing UEFA fine

BBC Scotland has discreetly amended a news story which, like many mainstream media outlets yesterday claimed that UEFA had hit Celtic with a fine for Palestine flag display at Celtic Park during the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday 25 October.

I always thought my club were different to any other in the world
Open to all is a fundamentally what being a Celtic fan is all about
Any creed colour or persuasion
A family where free speech is respected and political thought is encouraged
Never did I think paradise would be a place where socialism and integrity were discouraged never mind silenced
This land is your land
This land is my land …..
Not any more
Our land is besmirched by people that have no clue to the identity of a real Celtic fan
Our battle is not with Protestants, never has been. It’s with people that look like us, sound like us, but are as far away from us as you can imagine

Lets be honest, our generation are dying out. Its in the post for all of us. so back in the day we couldnt give a shit about politics, all that mattered was winning a game of football. The young uns are more aware and switched on than we ever were. Having said that I srill think theres a time and a place to express your political views. We all get the news 24/7. For a lot of people going to a match is a way to get away from it, vent some energy/anger for 90 mins, an go back to the fucking shit we have to deal with in this day and age.
It only hurts if you listen.
