Injuries

The Japan tour was possibly unique in terms of the number of 'visiting' players from the host nation and the public interest it generated. It was a bit of a showcase and celebration of Japanese football and showed the esteem Celtic are held in by Japanese fans.
I wouldn't read too much into what happened on the pitch. The players were there to put on an entertaining performance and they did. Good training run out and great to see some young players getting exposure. Great cultural experience for the players and the club can only benefit from the goodwill of Japanese football fans and continued expansion into new markets.

*Edit - yeah I know it's in the wrong thread but fuck it it's here now.
Ah'm tellin...

Injuries are one thing but when your getting as many as we are getting at the moment to key players you just know what's ahead in terms of results ....add to that BR unnecessary change in system.... new players trying to bed in and the team are inevitably all over the place.
Only in August and already the wheels are coming off.

Was the same in Ange's first season, hamstrings popping regularly. Mainly forwards then, defenders now

Rumour now that Nawrocki has a hamstring injury and will be missing for the next few weeks.
Looks like its Ralston, Lagerbielke, Scales, Taylor back four for Ibrox😲 unless CCV & Johnston are fit and/or new left back arrives.
We have Iwata who can play CB also, and Kobayashi, but the 4 you mention could well be it, maybe it could be AJ CCV Iwata and Tierney though 🤯🥶🤯😱.

Didn't Calmac play left back once at ipox 🤯🤯🤯....

There’s something not right with all these injuries.
Last year, under Ange, it was hamstrings, and lots of 'injuries in training' I wondered if players were flying into tackles during the training sessions, as it seemed that way on a weekly basis, you'd think, in this day and age, and with the facilities we have, they'd be better prepared, and not be as susceptible to those types of injuries, especially in training HH

Would appear so. Reports now that he could be out for extended period. Can see us now going for an unplanned CH signing if CCV, Welsh are out for months rather than weeks and Nawrocki possibly similar,
Board will probably say we'll let you keep Scales and Kobayashi .....with Lagerlout and Iwata we are well covered for the centre back positions.🙄
Yip we are gonna have to get a sense of humour as I think we are gonna need it shortly.
